On June 9th they installed 14 solar panels and most of the electrical equipment required. It is missing the meter reader.. Since then, after multiple attempts to reach out to them, they have responded with, "we will look into what the hold up is and get back with you". But they never get back with me. It has become increasingly frustrating because before the system was installed they responded quickly and answered my questions. Now it seems, since they got paid through the finance company, they are avoiding me or are just not in a hurry to finish the job. Their is no way for me to check where the process is in getting the final inspection and my system operational.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:I filed a complaint against this company back in August. They responded by saying they would take care of the issue of finishing my solar job within a week. It's been over a month and nothing has been done. I tried contacting them with the email provided in the response but it was kicked back saying it was non-deliverable. I am now paying for a system that is not hooked up to the grid.

I had Solar Panels installed on about May of 2017. I also had a new roof put on at the same time. My complaint is that some of the solar panels have lifted out of the tracks and now my roof is leaking. I went on Briosolarenergy.com 3 weeks ago to bring it to their attention and still have not only NOT received a response, the complaint does not even appear to have been read. Brio Energy contracted the roofer.Business response

Brio installed our solar system in April, 2021. In May they supposedly activated the system, but through the summer months we have gotten high electric bills and it has become clear that the system doesn’t work. We emailed customer service and they did confirm that our system is showing an error and they would send someone to look at it. That was a month ago and we have tried calling and leaving messages, as well as emails. We have not been contacted since they confirmed that our system is not working. All the while we are paying for the solar, as well as our electricity bills.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:that response is just not true and we will have to leave it at that. It ended up being a simple fix that took a month for anyone at Brio to do anything about. The one positive thing I will note is that the person I talked to yesterday, which I had to be the one to call and thankfully finally got ahold of someone, said that our electric bills will be reimbursed.
