I purchased two small items that were in small boxes. They could be tapped together and sent as one box. In the sale. they stated one will be shippable and the other will not ship. As both items being small I felt both can ship at the same time on my dime. They refused. They will not allow Fedex or other shipper to pick it up on my behalf (why)? They refuse to answer the phone so you can talk to a person. They do not provide any customer service Stay away from this company and spend your money with another auction as they refuse to do good business with you. I asked for a refund as I failed to initially see that one item would not ship as both items were about the same item and felt both would ship, without checking the small print. Unable to communicate other than e-mails.Initial Complaint

In May or June 2023, I won an auction that they did not have to give me and told me I would receive a refund, which I did, so I know they are capable of it. On 23 June 2023, the same thing happened again, where they were selling an item they did not have to sell. Again, I wasted my time and gas to drive to the pickup where they told me I'd get a refund. About 15 days later, when I asked where my refund was, they told me they gave me a credit. The only policy they have about credits refers to items that were returned. If I'd known I could return things, I would have done that with other items that were most definitely not as described. However, this specific item was not even in their possession and they had no business keeping my money or putting me under their return terms. I asked for a refund and they refused it. The next auction I won, they again charged my credit card rather than using my credit. Again, I asked for a refund and again they refused it by doing nothing. The next time I won an auction was months later. This time, they decided to inform me that credits expire in 30 days. Except that is their policy for returns and I made no return. They had no right to keep my money for an item they had no business even trying to sell because they didn't have it. Not to mention they waited 15 days to tell me I was getting a credit, and several months to tell me it expired in 30 days, when they should have given me the refund. I'm sure they deliberately waited months so that I couldn't get a refund on my credit card. After seeing their reviews on Yelp, I'm sorry to have done business with them at all as it seems every review there is similar to mine, of them stealing money from people. I returned nothing. They gave me nothing -- they owe me a refund. They do not get to keep my money because they can't run their inventory properly.Initial Complaint

I won an item from Treasury Auctions on 01-07-24 for 76 dollar wich was a stand up paddle board I picked up the item and brought it home believing the item was new after getting home I discovered the item wasn't in working condition it didn't hold air due to a seam being tore and it was missing a paddle and a fin.i emailed the auction and the told me to return it and I did recently I contacted them again. Because I hadn't got a refund (Paul kunz) had said they would refund my money less 15 % I told them I wanted my full amount returned eventually he said he would only refund it on an account so I would have to give him 15 % again although I have nothing to show for the money he wanted to take no services were given so I just said refund my full amount and he has refused infact he put 64 dollars on my credit card tonight that's not the amount of money I spent nor is It the money just for the item that amount was 76 dollars so now he has taken money for no service.i don't know how he can legally steal money from people I believe there should be laws about businesses taking people to the cleaners .this may seem like a small amount of money but I believe it's the principle and I intend to see what the law allows and don't I believe Treasury Auctions should be held to a standard..Business Response

Dear ******* ******,
We regret to hear about your dissatisfaction with your recent transaction at Treasury Auctions and understand your frustration. However, we would like to clarify the situation and the steps that have been taken in accordance with our policies, which you agreed to prior to participating in our auction.
Upon your initial contact, we acted promptly by offering a credit for future purchases, as per our terms and conditions. This was done immediately after you returned the item. It was only upon your subsequent request that we understood your preference for a refund rather than a credit. Accordingly, we processed your refund, minus the 15% credit card processing fee, as clearly stated in our terms and conditions which you had agreed to. This resulted in the $64 credit to your card, reflecting the deduction from the original $76 to cover the processing fee.
We have attached documentation proving your agreement to these terms and conditions.
We strive to maintain transparency and fairness in all our transactions and policies. While we regret any misunderstanding, it is important to note that the refund has been processed in full compliance with the agreed terms. There is nothing further from our end to be done regarding this matter.
Furthermore, due to the nature of this issue and the subsequent dispute, we have made the decision to ban you from participating in future auctions at Treasury Auctions. We believe in fostering a positive and straightforward relationship with our customers, and it is clear that our terms and the nature of liquidation auctions may not be the best fit for your expectations.
We take all feedback seriously, but we must also adhere to our policies, which are designed to be fair to all parties involved. We appreciate your understanding.Sincerely,
