      Ofa has taken a large amount of money for a "deposit" on the concrete we asked for, and has now vanished. We were originally going to have him do a concrete wall, a footing and foundation for a small shop/garage in the back, and then a concrete driveway that goes up the side of the house (aka RV pad). In fairness it was a lot of concrete, so it made sense that he would ask for a descent size payment up front. Well the wall was poured as well as the footing for the shop. The work was SOOO bad I was embarrassed when people would walk by and see it. I asked him to fix it and he agreed to redo the wall and the footing after the inspector came out and said that the work wasn't even close to meeting code. Now that the work has been challenged he won't respond to calls or texts and has been paid over $15k. This guy is not honest, not good at concrete, and has lied to us so many times I've lost count. I WILL be pursuing him in court civilly and legally if necessary to get our money back. At this point we will have to pay someone to tear the garbage work out and then redo everything.
