They reached out to me claiming to be able to offer modeling opportunities with big brands. I have three years of experience and somehow coerced me into signing a contract that makes you pay 3k and is a total scam. I canceled within 30 days and they ignored and continued to send to collections. This company feeds off of women and there dreams and it’s slimy and sick. They need to be shut down!! They take advantage of a lot of innocent people and make them think they need them to model! I’d like legal action taken as well as complete removal of all charges. By law it is illegal to ask for money to model and by law a model has 30 days to cancel.Business response

To Whom it May Concern -
The attached image will showcase the contract and memo of agreement to which Ms. ****** signed by her own choice. This contract showcases that there is no cancellation clause or refunds as well. Not only did she initial this portion specifically it was conversed to her directly from the Director she met with. Ms. ****** even provided an image of a text response stating from the Director there are no cancellations and that director providing encouragement. The contract provided as well in this does clearly state that if the Talent does not uphold her contract that it does get sent to collections. That communication was clearly stated from the Director to Ms. ****** as well.
The image that Ms. ****** has provided is from a web search on if one can leave a modeling contract that has a link from a United Kingdom based article. What Ms. ****** doesn't understand that she signed two contracts. One with Urban Talent Management and the other with Style Incorporated. Both contracts are attached. The Urban Management contract is her contract for representation with an Agency. That is her modeling contract that she signed. The Agency Urban Talent Management does not charge talent to be represented and only works off a booking commission when the Talent book a job. The contract with Style Incorporated is the contract that Ms. ****** has agreed to pay an investment total of less than 3k to which her statement is wrong. That investment is paid to receive training and development from Style Incorporated. One other attached document is the memo of agreement and the very first thing that Ms. ****** has initialed is that she read and understands there are two different contracts for two different companies. So what she has again posted as an image from a web search with United Kingdom based information on Modeling Contracts has no validity as the contract itself is not a modeling contract.
Lastly Ms. ****** expressed she has three years experience in this industry. While that is something that is valid for her, based on the requirments that the print and electronic media clients our agency books with it was clear to our Director that Ms. ****** needs additional development, and training to have the success in booking with these clients. The company works with numerous national brands such as Nordic Track, and Fabletics, along with many local brands to the Boise and Salt Lake area. These clients have specific requirements when they make requests through the agency to book. Which is why the Agency works with a development company for training.
Ms. ****** had the opportunity to read the information provided for her in both contracts. She has even signed and agreed to knowing she had two contracts, and yet has written a complaint without even herself having an understanding of what choice she made herself.
