Thank you for sharing your concerns; we truly value your feedback. After reviewing our records, it seems you purchased a vehicle from Lucky's with a financing agreement, and some payments were missed. As were not a financial institution, were unable to combine accounts, so no second vehicle could have been added. Additionally, we dont have any documentation indicating your boyfriend co-signed for another car without your consent. Our records show only one vehicle tied to your account, and any repossession would have followed the contract terms and legal guidelines.
Your account is now managed by a third party, not Lucky's or Titanium Funds. Please reach out to our office, and wed be happy to assist you in connecting with the company handling your account.Initial Complaint

*********,
I see you referenced repair issues. We have a very competitive warranty and financing options to help customers with repair costs. Please reach out to us to go over your options. You are welcome to go through our ************** or if you'd like to provide a repair estimate from the ************** of your choice Before any of the work is started, so it can be reviewed for us to give options.
We do show your balance has decreased since you purchased the vehicle. We are happy to provide you with a payment ledger so you can see the changes over time on your account. Please keep in mind, you are on an amortization schedule. On this type of schedule, your payments are split up between principal and interest. At the beginning of the loan a larger portion of the payments are applied to the interest, then towards the end of the loan a larger portion will be applied to the principal. You will start to see the loan balance decrease faster on the back half of the loan term.
We can be reached at ************ for you to request a ledger and repair estimates can be emailed to ******************** Thank you.

Lucky's Auto Credit 4581 W 3500 S, West Valley City, UT 84120 and Titanium Funds 3081 S State Street, Salt Lake City, UT 84115 I purchased this car on 11/17/2022 and I have never missed a payment. I paid $185 every two weeks. I truly believe one of their mechanics due to his negligence did not put any oil in my car or he didn't do something right during my oil change which I had gone into their shop about 2-3 weeks prior before my car broke down. The car was towed to Lucky's Auto Credit and they called me about a week later stating that my engine was blown and that they were going to fix it free of charge. One month passes by, they don't call me. I would call in and they would tell me that they're still waiting for an engine to come in. Almost 2 months passed by Titanium Funds is harassing me daily through emails, calls and text messages that my payment is late. At this point, I came by Lucky's Auto Credit just to see what's going on with my car and it's not in the shop, but just sitting on their lot like a junkyard. I've called and spoken with people at Lucky's and Titanium Funds; I've tried to figure out what my options were and the only thing they told me was that I had to do a trade in or wait for the car to be fixed. At first I agreed to look at their car options on the lot, unfortunately every single one of their cars were more than $10,000 plus! I had even asked them if I can sell the car or if they can sell the car for me and I'll pay the difference, and at first they told me no, so I refused to continue paying for a car that was broken and just sitting there on their lot. I received a letter on December 11, 2024 that they ended up selling my car for $575 and the remaining balance that I owed was $6,694.90. I lost my job and I was behind on my rent for a few months due to my car loss. This whole car situation has been a nightmare for me and till this day, I don't have a car. I've paid almost $4000 dollars with nothing to show for. Make it make sense!!!Business Response

We regret to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Our team strives to provide excellent service and address customer concerns within the boundaries of our policies and regulations. We believe in the quality of our mechanics, the fairness of our pricing, and the value of our warranty plan.
Unfortunately, the solutions we offered to resolve the issue did not align with your expectations, leading to a breach of contract. In such situations, we are obligated to take steps to recover our losses, including selling the vehicle in a commercially reasonable manner.
We valued the rapport we had established with you and had hoped to continue our business relationship. However, the circumstances prevented us from reaching a mutually satisfactory resolution.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions or concerns. We are open to discussing this matter with you.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because:
I am not willing to pay $6000 plus for a car I no longer have. I've never even missed a payment and I've already paid almost 4 grand for absolutely nothing.

We want to resolve this matter in an amicable, mutually beneficial, way. Please reach out to our Titanium Funds, Recovery department to that end. We will hold off on filing a Complaint on the deficiency balance owed on the auto loan to give you a chance to reach out to us to discuss and further analyze the situation. In the event the parties are still in disagreement, or if we cannot make contact with you, then the appropriate forum to litigate this dispute will then be the State court case that would handle the deficiency action, if necessary.Initial Complaint

Bought a car from the dealership and I took it in for a small tire leak found out that the tire that has the leak is 9 years old and tread is starting to come apart the front pass side is bald the only tire that's good on my car is the front drivers side tire.Business Response

This used vehicle was sold As Is and the contracts for the loan the customer signed hold him responsible for the loan balance, regardless of what is happening with the vehicle. However, at the time of inspection, all four tires met the Utah highway patrol safety inspection requirements. The Utah Highway patrol safety inspection requirements do not state tires need to be replaced based on age, but it is generally recommended to replace tires every 6-10 years. If excessive miles are put on the vehicle, tires may need to be replaced within a shorter time frame.
Though it is technically the responsibility of the customer to pay for maintenance repairs like this, we do offer financing options to customers for these types of repairs that may not fall under warranty, as long as the repair estimate is provided to Titanium Funds and the financing arrangements are approved Before the work is started. In some cases, if the vehicle is brought to one of our Lucky's ************ Centers, and if it is very early in the loan term, the Administrators can offer additional options under certain circumstances.
We have not received any contact from the customer regarding this issue and they have not brought the vehicle to any of our Service Centers. If they had reached out before the work was started, we could have provided our financing options regardless of where the customer took the vehicle for repairs. We can also sometimes offer arrangements to be made regarding payments on the loan for unexpected expenses if the customer must have the vehicle repaired outside our business hours and is not able to get approval for financing before the work is completed. In the future, we hope the customer will reach out to us and take advantage of our options to help with these costs.

I bought a 2016 **** fusion from luckys auto credit, knowing there past business ethics I was tentative but almost helpless as their business preys on those with credit issues, I did purchase and the vehicle, 4 months later car no longer starts and was very shakey starting after 1 month, turns out to be a key transponder relay which means the key for the vehicle was fabricated and not even a **** issued key and they gave no spare, I called luckys for warranty info they told me it doesn't cover, I believe they put bad parts in vehicles to pass and sell to unsuspecting customers they want me to take it to them and pay for there diagnostics, I took to **** themselves and was 500$ for actual working keysBusiness Response

*****,
I apologize there was an issue with your key. Please keep in mind this is a used vehicle purchased as is and, though our warranty is very competitive, there are certain repairs that are not covered. However, to provide additional assistance to our customers, we also offer financing options for repair costs over $300. The warranty and financing options can also be applied to repairs at other service centers as long as the estimate is provided before the work is started so we can verify the costs are reasonable. We have noticed some **** dealerships and **** manufacturers will sometimes have higher repair and labor costs but they are almost always still within a reasonable amount for us to apply the warranty and financing options.Initial Complaint

It hasn't been 6 months of having this car and there's electrical problems when I get out the car. The door shocks me.The shocks and barons are old and ***** predating the buying of this car. Not only that, they were supposed to send me tags. And plates and never did. Nor can you speak to anyone to resolve the problemBusiness Response

Markeis,
Our ************** in ********** shows you brought the vehicle into them twice for oil changes and there is no record you informed them of any additional electrical or mechanical issues. Also, they have images of the undercarriage that do not show any rust. However, they will be happy to assist you if you can reach out to them to set up an appointment by calling ************ directly or they can be reached at ************ if you ask to be transferred. As for the tags/license plates, the *********** does not issue new tags or license plates for a new sale and the vehicle left the lot with valid license plates which do not need to be replaced. Please let us know if you have any further questions. We will be happy to help any way we can.

Car had been having multiple issues since purchase. Replaced engine once and still seeing same issues occurring. I am consistently paying my car note and am not even being able to drive the car for long.Business Response

Chardonee,
I apologize you have been experiencing engine issues. Please understand this is a used vehicle and unfortunately, with any used vehicle, there is risk of required repairs. However, as you have seen, we have a very competitive warranty and we were able to get your engine replaced with just a warranty deductible. However, we were informed the new engine we received has a blown head gasket. The shop has agreed to replace your engine again free of charge, and I show your appointment for this is scheduled for today. We hope this will resolve the mechanical issues with the engine on this vehicle moving forward. Please be aware, if the vehicle is not brought back in and it breaks down causing it to be towed back to our shop, we will not be responsible for towing costs. Please confirm with the service center that the vehicle will be dropped off to them as scheduled so we may assist you further. Thank you.

07/13/2023 I have an auto loan with Luckys auto credit. Making the payments isnt an issue but what is, is the shady business practice. Luckys puts starter disables on their vehicles which is their right however I was not even late on a payment and they disabled my car so I couldnt get to urgent care for my bronchitis. Anytime I call I am met with attitude. They also dont report payments properly. They tried to tell me I was a month behind in payments even though I prepaid my loan for the whole month and they again disabled my car. They will also disable it while driving. I lost my job and got unemployment, I received $323 a week. Luckys demanded all of that for the first two weeks I was on unemployment because they claimed I was behind a month like I said previously. Now they still collect $210 every week leaving me with just over a hundred dollars to last for a week and to pay gas and other billsBusiness Response

*****,
Please be aware you have a two day grace ****** when the account goes past due before the vehicle is disabled. We verified with your device history and the vehicle has never been disabled while the account is current. The account was either 2 or more days past due when we reached out, were unable to get in contact with you, and the device disabled. I show once you paid, we were able to enable the vehicle again. I apologize if you felt our customer service team was rude, that is not our intention at all. We are trying to work with the credit bureaus and the new system we were forced to switch to, so that we can report to credit again. However, we haven't been able to reach compliance to ensure all accounts reflect fully correctly. We hope to resolve this in the future and be able to report again. The vehicle does not shut off while in motion, as a safety feature. It will prevent you from being able to start the vehicle again once disabled and the vehicle is shut off. I show we made arrangements for you to make your payments with your unemployment, and once you provide proof of a new job, we are happy to make new arrangements around that pay schedule. However, we are unable to extend the loan term or lower the payments according to the contracts you signed. Please let us know once you procure new employment and we will work with you to get on track to keep the vehicle enabled. In the meantime, unfortunately the account must be kept current to keep in good standing and also to keep the vehicle enabled as we are unable to refinance accounts in house or move any payments to the end of the loan.

I surrendered a vehicle due to homelessness. The vehicle was worth $5,000 which they auctioned and bought back at a discount. Turned around and are garnishing half my wages claiming. I owe them $17000 more on a $5,000 vehicle. I hope no one else falls victim to their mob like immoral accounting practices.Business Response
