I’m going to start from the beginning of this nightmare. We are located in Wisconsin and saw a gorgeous truck online from this place. We haggled out a deal to come down and pick up a beautiful F450 with a rebuilt title due to a fire in the bed of the truck(that’s what we were told). They told us prior to going there that there was nothing wrong with the truck and it was ready to go. So we put money down on the truck and drove almost straight there(20 plus hours). When we arrived(12-07-2024) we noticed a few issues with the truck, like heated and cooled seats not working and also the tailgate not going down. They said there wasn’t a manager in to help with the matter so they wrote up a letter saying they’d take care of it after I got back to Wisconsin. On the way to Wisconsin the check engine light came on and the truck went into “limp mode”. After turning off the truck and back on it went away. When we finally arrived home and talked to a manager about the issues they sent a $500 check that barely paid anything that was wrong with the truck. I waited until now to post a review because I wanted to make sure I had the title in hand before writing a review. We left a clean title 2017 f250 platinum that ran flawlessly and $6,000 on top for a 2017 f450 platinum with a rebuilt title and al these issues. Both trucks had roughly the same miles. The issues with truck and fix. 1. Heated and Cooled seats(module and wiring were burnt to a crisp under passenger seat). I guess this is a known issue. $1,000 fix. 2. Tailgate not opening was caused by them replacing the tailgate after the fire but not hooking up wires correctly. Wires were disconnected and also just twisted together. Fix was just my time and knowledge. 3. Limp mode was caused by a bad turbo. Fix is a new turbo. Over $5,000.
