      I am being charged for a loan for items that I no longer have. After I had been paying the loan I had an issue where merchandise that was ordered had been lost when I took out the loan and due to the negative reaction I had with the representative at the store I ended up fully returning everything back to them. I am now showing that they are showing this as a debt on my credit and past due. I don't owe anything as my loan should have been fully closed. This needs to be removed and closed off of my credit. This was over 2 months ago. They are showing I have 2 accounts here when I shouldn't have 2. I don't have anything for either of these orders. And these need to be closed.

      I borrowed $1,400 from Oppfinance/Finwise bank 11/1/2023. I accepted an APR of ******% not knowing that anything over 36% in the state of ****** is illegal and unethical. I have paid them $1,493.28 since the time I accepted the loan and still have a balance of almost $1,000 which is not realistic for me to pay, and they want me to pay two times a month, and then if I miss one of the two payments, they report to credit. This is not fair or just, and having paid over the amount that I have borrowed in less than a year, this should be taken into account when finding a solution with this company.

      On 08/22/24 My daughter took her car in for repairs at Redford Auto Repair. My daughter could not get approved for a loan so she calls me upset and not sure what to do. So the shop uses FinWise and it was referred. I apply and get approved. Not one bit of interest or payment information is given to me upon loan approval. She has the work done and then I find out that I am being charged 168% interest with a nearly $300 every two-week payment. For one that is just robbery. Second I was not given this information until after the car was done and then if I don't sign the paperwork my daughter's car would have been held hostage. This is ridiculous and I want my interest rate drastically lowered and a payment that makes some sense.

      Although I am happy that they allowed an extra month for payoff, I still disagree with the fact that I received any documentation of interest rate or payment prior to my daughter having her vehicle fixed.   I did also read from others, that just because I get the extra month that my payments are not going toward the actual amount owed.  That I could pay over $1500 in the next few months to ask for a payout that I am still going to owe the full amount.  From what I understood that this was same as cash to the early payout.  Another scam.  The first time that I seen the interest rate and payment was at the time my daughters vehicle was completed and I had to sign this for the release of her vehicle. 

      I do not know if you had a glitch in your system or what the situation was, but I stand by the fact that I received nothing until she went and got her vehicle.  You say it your interest rates are on your website.  Who cares.  Those rates I found were ranges.  Anytime I got a loan or credit card.  They tell you upfront what your interest rate is so you can make an informed decision.  Apparently, you do not.   I also see many complaints about this loan program that you are preying on people that are in a jam and need things done.  Example, my daughters car.  Instead of being upfront with someone you deceitfully go about lending money with crazy interest rates and payments.  YES!!! I should have done my own research prior to this loan to see what scammers this lending company is, but I guess you got me too.  Scammed thinking that I would be getting somewhat of a fair interest rate and payment plan and actual same as cash by the early pay off date. 

      This is absolutely ridiculous.   I will never recommend this company unless something is done.  I know the company really doesn't care because it is all about the mighty dollar instead of being reasonable in their interest rates and how they run their business.

      I applied for a loan a few months ago and was denied due to not being able to verify my checking account. I contacted Rise and they told me they dont know why that happened but the decision is final. Mind you its connected via plaid to my checking account and i submitted bank statements. Figure okay whatever so I go to apply for the loan again on Sunday and am told they need additional information. So again I connect my bank account and submit the statement and once AGAIN im told they cant verify it. So now I have TWO credit checks from the company. I call again and they tell me they cant review the information sent so basically im SOL. I want someone to help me understand what issues they are having with the checking account, as there is ABSOLUTELY NO reason they shouldnt have been able to verify my checking account and approve the loan. Probably one big scam. Still would love the loan approval though, as my checking account is receiving paychecks.

      FinWise caught me in a time of need with an In-mail offer for a loan. I applied for a $2500 loan and was approved even with damaged credit (Post CH7 BK) . Cool, ready through the details of Interest rates, payment amounts, how long it would take to pay off ect. No problem, was given an interest rate of something like 32% and Bi-Weekly payments of a little under $100. About 4 months go by now and i decide, let me see what my balance looks like. Log in to the online portal and see my balance is something like $2800. Confused and worried i decided to give it a little longer and see if it would change. Next thing i know my balance is iver $3000. I completely stopped paying them any more of my money and deep dived into the online world and quickly realized im not the only one that was bamboozled by these scammers. I still refuse to pay them to this day. Currently working with a credit specialist and will likely end up getting legal help as well. No way this is legal for them to promise me a 30% interest and turn around and have the real interest be over 100%.

      Borrowed $5000 June 2023. Have paid over $6900 back and my principal balance reduced by only $175.00, meaning, I still owe $4815.00. I realize I signed the contract but I didnt realize that only $13.00 of the $585 I paid each month is going towards principal. I called customer service asking for a solution and principal reduction and was told your account has to be delinquent to receive any type of settlement offer. Its bad business to force a paying customer into delinquency. I would like to discuss the option of a settlement offer without going delinquent. It would serve both of us better if we could work something out.

This company Admitted that its sold my alleged debt to another company to which is a direct violation. Under section 615(f) of the **** states When any furnisher of information is notified pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 605B that a debt has resulted from identity theft, the furnisher may not sell, transfer, or place for collection the debt. This Company knew this account was the result of identity theft because a FTC report was filed and sent to Finwise and lending point but this company Proceeded in the cell of the debt

      I am rejecting this response because ************ has violated several of my right under the fair credit report act and this can and will be Shown and Proved in court.1) I can show that my identity theft claim was valid thats why all three Credit Bureaus agreed to delete the inaccurate information. ************ has a Financial interest to try and force me to pay this debt. 2). I can show via Certified mail dispute letters that I have sent this company and Lending point demanding method of validation, and it has not been provided. I have not been provided majority of the letters you attached to your response.  still in none of those letters, the method of Validation has not even been mentioned let alone provided, however I can provide copy of disputes wit Certified tracking asking for such validation to which I have not received as of yet rendering this account unverifiable ******* usc 1681i (A)(5)(a) of the **** which is another reason why this account should not have been sold.
