Unique Auto Body took advantage of the situation and decided to repair my car without authorization. After it was involved in an accident, the car was taken to Unique for a quote, but I did not authorize them to fix it. However, to my surprise, when I went to pick up the car, I found out that it had been fixed without my authorization. I repeatedly asked for proof of authorization, but Unique was not able to provide any evidence that someone had approved the repair. Instead, they kept lying to me by saying that the insurance had authorized the repair. When I contacted my insurance to verify, they were not able to confirm that the repair had been authorized by them. Despite my doubts, I decided to pick up the car, but after driving it for a short while, I noticed that something was not right. I took the car to Nissan dealer for a checkup, and they confirmed that the repair had been done poorly and by someone who did not know what they were doing. After contacting my insurance company, State Farm, decided to take the car back to Unique to give them the chance to make things right. However, when I got the car back, it was clear that the job was not done correctly, and there were still issues with the seat belts and other parts missing as from the beginning. State Farm uses Unique as a preferred body shop and both kept telling me that the other one had authorized the repairs, when the owner of the car is the one who authorizes the repairs, per state farm’s policy. Unfortunately, Unique has failed to meet all expectations has performed job without authorization and unethical. Unique and the insurance overvalued the car to gain profits, fixed it without my authorization, and failed to deliver satisfactory results. I am extremely disappointed with the way Unique handled this matter, and I demand that you take immediate action to rectify the situation. I expect them to provide a full refund for the repair.
