Thrifty Car Rental Oklahoma City leased my wife a Toyota Camry with defective rear cameras. My wife, daughter and granddaughter drove an unsafe rental car during the term of the lease. When backing out of a parking place at the hotel, a pole was hit damaging the car. PurCo Fleet Services was contracted to collect the $2,177 cost to repair the car. We notified PurCo that we do not owe repair costs for a defective rental car. PurCo has notified us that they will notify credit bureaus of our non payment. We consider this to be a threatening and abusive business practice. PurCo has been notified that we will contact the BBB and the Attorney General of Utah to file complaints. If need, will hire professionals to repair damaged credit reports and prosecute PurCo for the costs.

They are scammers. Im shocked they didnt claim they were the *** and that if I didnt pay with iTunes Gift card today Id go to jail. If you read their responses youll see many grammatical and spelling errors which is one of the main signs the *** warns about when watching out for scams.

This is a rip off. I rented a car from ***** and as we drove through *********** we got a crack on our windshield. Note that ***** immediately turns over these matters to Purco and they slap on a $300 administrative fee. The total amount for the cracked window to be repaired was $1400 - amazing, if you just took it to a shop in your own town it would probably be around $500 or less. My insurance paid $800 of it which left me to fork out the rest of the amount. This is a racket! I wouldn't be surprised to see Purco employees hurling rocks at people's windows in national parks to try and ******* more profits. Both Hertz and Purco are sleazy. I would NEVER rental a car from ***** again.

I rented a car while in ***** for my cousin's wedding. Unfortunately, I caused a minor sideswipe and had to get my insurance involved. I was ready to pay my $500 deductible after my insurance covered the rest. Instead, Purco contacted me with a bill for about $1500 including some nonsense fees. I talked to my insurance and they explained that this company was trying to claim damage not caused by my accident, on the complete other side of the vehicle. I'm still holding out and trying my best to get this figured out. They do not respond to emails and phone calls get nowhere. They only get away with this because no one here chooses this company, we just get stuck with them, depending on which rental company you use. My guess is they try to scam as many people as they can with the hopes that a percentage of them payout without questioning it.

Received letter from Purco after car rental with Hertz at ***************. Claim damages to car- car was inspected at airport with no damage found at time of return. Purco sent pictures showed scratches on lower portion of passenger bumper. No time stamp on pictures. I can not help to believe the damage was done after I had the car inspected and walked away. Charges for 11.4 hours repair at $489.60 and 5 days loss of use at $379.95, $150 admin fee. I am baffled why car should be out of service 5 days for 11 hours work. Location of repair shop is 284 miles from the ***************. Why is the car being moved so far for minor paint repair???? I feel this is a scam. Take pictures of your car on return!!!!!

I rented a car from budget rental in Appleton. I had to review the car myself no employee to help with me. It was dark and cold. I took what pictures I could, and uploaded them to a website for the instructions. When I return the car, it was before hours and was told to leave the key is in the lock box which I did . Later, I received a charge for a broken windshield which I am certain was not there when I drop the car off. Do not deal with this company, as it seems to be a common practice of theirs.

This company calls at 3 am. Demands money $1000 for a chipped windshield on an economy car rental. I go to pay to make them go away. Their website is broken. They want a paper check in the mail. Red Flags everywhere ! Also they didnt contact me until 90 days after the fact. I notified the car rental company that the chip damage was already there when I got it.

No Star is more like what I need to leave. I have had on going harassment from this company for over 8 months. A claim was sent to me for a rental from Ace Rent a Cr in ****** **, for over a $1000. I have record of the vehicle inspection prior to me taking it out noting there was damage on the car. Yet they are trying to get me to foot the bill. I've been thru 3 different "claim specialists" already. Each time I prove it wasn't me my claim get passed to a new person.

I am having a situation similar to the other reviews. I rented a car from **** in .......... and hit a deer, causing damage to the car of about $10000.00.Purco sent me the bill, including, their services, a loss of use fee ( 30 days to repair WOW ! ), an appraisal fee, and a diminitutive loss fee of $5000.00 Holycow! Even my insurance friend had never heard of this.None of these it seems are covered by my insurance. Be very, very, wary about renting a car using your own insurance.
