On 4/11/22 I placed an order for a stained bi-fold shelf Murphy Door for $2765.47. After receiving the door on 10/20/22 I emailed the company because the stain on the shelf/door did not match and was splotchy. The piece of wood for the backing of the shelf were also install backward/did not match. On 10/21/22 they ask for photos--I send them same day. They said they would replace the door--this was on 10/26/22. I had to donate the current door before they would process the refund. They gave me a $150 credit to cover the cost of having it uninstalled. It was picked up for donation on 12/29/22. I don't hear back until 1/16/23 when I ask for an update--door is to ship by the end of following week. On 2/2/23 the new door is installed and is worse than the first--in addition to cosmetic issues the hinge wasn't working properly and had chipping paint. The door did not close fully and a gap was left indicating it was a door and not just a shelf (defeating the entire purpose of the product). They ask for photos--I send them same day. They call on 2/14/23 and offer 1/2 refund. On 8/25/23 additional issues occurred--the door would catch in the center and would not open enough to allow someone to enter/exit, and when you tried to close it it would hit the wall--now it doesn't open or close. On 8/28/23 they ask if it's level. It is. I provide photos. I don't get a response until 9/27/23--they want me to loosen the valance. Does not help. 10/5/23 they tell me to purchase silicone lube and try that. It does not help. On 12/4/23 they ask me to purchase a ***************** to check it--it is plumb, I provide photos on 12/18. We figure out wheel for the track keeps popping off the track and facing the wrong direction causing the door to stop and not shut. I send photos. On 12/19/23 was told to wait for manager. On 1/18/24 I ask for an update, no response. 1/24/24 I ask again and am promised a reply by 1/25/24. Still no response. I tried calling, no response.
