I paid the company off in full on February 26, 2025 after speaking to a representative on the phone. The representative did not cancel my recurring payment after processing my payment. The next recurring payment came out of my account on the due date. I emailed and they responded saying the money would be refunded within two days. It was not and after multiple phone calls, emails, sending them copies of my bank statement(s) etc, they claim they refunded me on March 17 (the day before the recurring payment) and I had to file a claim through my bank. They have not refunded me and I am still fighting this with my bank and emailing them and getting the runaround. This company is seemingly running a suspicious business practice where if youre not paying attention they continue to charge your account after it is closed out. Im still waiting for a resolution.

I am rejecting this response because: the business refunded my account on April 11, 2025 not on March 17, 2025 as they are insisting that they did. The account was debited on March 18, 2025 without permission. I am willing to close this complaint but u still have reservations about this company practicing legal procedures.

      Sincerely,

I am writing to file a formal complaint against ClickLease regarding deceptive business practices and misleading lease terms. On July 26, 2024, I entered into what I believed was a financing agreement through ClickLease to obtain equipment for my business. During the application and approval process, I was led to believe that I was entering into a financing or rent-to-own agreement, not a long-term non-cancellable ******** no point was it made clear that this was a non-cancellable lease with high costs, excessive fees, and no reasonable way to exit the contract. The sales and marketing materials were vague and implied flexibility, affordability, and ownership of the equipment after a short term. Once the agreement was signed and payments began, I realized the terms were significantly different than what was presented. The contract is structured in a way that locks customers into paying much more than the original value of the equipment over time, with little to no transparency.I feel I was misled into signing a contract under false pretenses, and I am now burdened with an unfair and one-sided agreement. Attempts to contact ClickLease to discuss early termination or resolution options have been met with unhelpful responses and no meaningful support. I offered to return the equipment I even attempted to settle this, but nothing.I am requesting the BBB to assist in:1.Reviewing the deceptive practices employed by ClickLease in presenting their agreements.2.Facilitating a resolution that allows me to exit the agreement without further unreasonable charges.(FAIR)3.Warning other consumers and businesses about the misleading nature of ClickLeases contracts.I have attached relevant documentation, including the agreement, communications, and payment history for your review.Thank you for your time and assistance.*. ********

I’m reading through dozens of BBB complaints on click lease here. Seems like everyone has had the same issues that as I’ve experienced. I purchased a commercial power wash skid from ******* Power Equipment (which I am filing a separate complaint on) ******* Power mislead me on what click lease offers. I was told by the owner of ******* that they use click lease for FINANCING. Not once did they say the word lease or rent to own. In fact, when I asked the click lease rep what the interest rate was on the loan I was given a vague nonsense explanation how there was no exact interest rate and that it’s just worked into the monthly payment. Made no sense whatsoever. The terminology that was consistently used by click lease during the call was financing/loan, they never said it was a lease or rent to own agreement. Never received a straight answer on anything else. I was also never told I would have had to return the machine or pay off in the first couple of months to not pay the full $25k amount for a machine originally priced at $10k (new). This was never discussed at the time of purchase. They are charging more than double for the equipment. After multiple calls and no answers I received a call from a rep who told me if I pay the $25k in full I’ll get a 5% discount. This is absurd. He also insisted to me that the owner of ******* Power knows very well that click lease is a lease company, after he insisted to me that he was confused and thought click lease offered traditional loans. This is all a scam. I do not know how click lease is still in business. And the owner of ******* Power Equipment is misleading his customers.

I signed a lease agreement with ClickLease for business equipment financing. After initiating the lease, I encountered significant issues, including poor customer service, unclear communication regarding terms and conditions, and unexpected charges. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issues directly with ClickLease, their response has been insufficient, leaving me feeling misled and financially disadvantaged. The company has failed to clearly address my concerns or offer viable solutions, resulting in frustration and ongoing financial inconvenience. I am seeking intervention through BBB to mediate this issue and hold ClickLease accountable for fair business practices and transparent communication.

On 01/31/2025 I picked up a trailer from ********** trailers That clicklease was Financing. I was told when picking up the trailer after I had asked for all the paperwork was told I cannot get a tag for this but it would be sent to me in the mail by clicklease And that I would have it in three weeks. It is now March 5 and still no tag, I had called their office to inquire about the tag and why I have not received it yet and was told they haven’t started the paperwork yet because they haven’t received anything from the dealership. I was told by one person it would be at least 60 more days before I would be able to go to the DMV to get atag. Which upon I told them, I am not going to pay for a trailer to sit in my yard and look like a yard ornament. nobody in the right mind would buy something that they cannot use for three months. If I would’ve been told this when I had gone to it up, I never would have got it. The so-called contract has never been emailed or sent in the mail to me. there is nothing they will do to rectify the situation. I’m expected to make payments until they can decide when to get around to doing the legal paperwork. This is nothing I have or would agree to never will I purchase a trailer that cannot be used.

I bought a Trailer from Boom Boom Pow LLC through Clicklease LLC around June of 2024. My lease information stated that if I could pay off the lease within 5 months that there would be no interest. So that is what I did. By October 16th 2024 I called for a lease payoff and that number was 11,910.34. I made my payment and was told I would have the title in 30-60 days. Now 2-18-25, 4 months after payoff, I still have not received my title and I feel anytime I call I just get beat around the bush. Near the end of December/Early January I reached out and they said the Indiana BMV lost the title in the mail and I will be receiving a duplicate soon. Then after not receiving anything, on or around 2-4-25 I reached back out and they stated they would have the title out that week or early the next week and that they would email me tracking information. That was 3 weeks ago. Now 2-18-25 4 months after the payoff was made I still have no title and they don't seem to be any further than they were 3 weeks ago. I just want my title and to move on with my life. I will be reaching out to the Indiana BMV to see if anything regarding a title in my name has been initiated. Take a look at the supplied statement that happens to be dated a day ahead somehow. It also states multiple discrepancies regarding payment information and remaining payments but also states completed.... We also filed a complaint with **** for ***** violations in deceptive practices.

Unethical Business ****************** of Agreement by Clicklease LLC. I leased a trailer from Clicklease LLC and made my down payment using an **************** card, which was accepted at the time of purchase. However, I faced numerous issues, including:1. Failure to provide trailer plates for over nine months, preventing me from using the trailer for my business. Despite repeated calls, I was falsely assured the plates were on the way.2. Predatory interest rates that caused me to pay over $14,000 while still owing $12,000 on a $12,000 trailer.3. Unfair repossession threats: After making every payment on time for two years, I experienced a medical emergency and arranged for reduced payments. Despite honoring the agreement, the company falsely claimed I had made no payments and attempted to repossess the trailer. I was forced to pay unnecessary repossession fees to prevent losing the trailer.4. Breach of verbal agreements: The company refuses to honor the payment arrangement I made with their employees.I demand that Clicklease refund excessive interest and repossession fees and properly honor their agreements. If they fail to respond, I will explore legal action and publicly expose their unethical business practices.

This company has a vague information as to it's terms then requires personal credit information to perform a "soft pull". Once they pulled my credit there was yet another step to link a bank account, which was not stated prior to applying. I then linked a bank account and after a few minutes relieved a declined application without clear explanation of qualification criteria or why the decline.

      Business Response

      Date: 01/27/2025

Thank you for inquiring about your recent commercial equipment lease application. We regret that we are unable to approve your lease request.

Clickleases commercial lease offers are calculated using an empirically derived proprietary risk tiering algorithm. Your application was processed through Clickleases risk tiering system that assigns weighted numerical values to the factors that Clicklease compiles in evaluating each lease request. The combination of weighted numerical values used to assign a risk tier is based upon analyzed lease payment histories of a large number of prior Clicklease Lessees. Your business did not score sufficiently in Clickleases risk tiering algorithm to qualify for a lease. While your business does not qualify for lease offers at the present time, you are welcome to re-apply after thirty days.

Thank you again for your interest in leasing commercial equipment through clicklease. We look forward to the possibility of assisting your business in the future.
