Hi, i have a really noisy neighbor. Ive been requesting from 'the parliaments' to resolve this issue. I live in a apartment, I live on the 3rd floor. And my neighbor is way to loud, he gets into a raging fit often. I can hear him through the floor. I don't know wether or not to call the police. He's a bully he curses alot, it's 8/10 bad. He slams his door and bangs throughout the house. I don't want to talk to him because he might retaliate, and be petty towards me. He uses intimidation to get his way. He has a problem. My issue is that, I've emailed 'the parliaments' twice, ive gotten no response. Then ive called about 4 times (also I've visited the front office twice) and they told me that they will take care of the issue. It has not been resolved. I have to find out the next day and through out the week, that my neighbor is still making a lot of noise. There has been no change. Id really need help about this problem. This is unacceptable. Theres alot of bad reviews. I just don't want to go unheard like all the other reviews.

    RE: Case # ********

    Dear Dispute Resolution Team:

The Parliaments has received the letter regarding ********************************** Case # ********.Upon review of the concern, the following has been determined:

On 11/28/2023, we spoke with the resident directly to address his concerns regarding noise from the neighbor above and the details of his complaint submitted to the Better Business Bureau. Initially, ****************** felt that his concern were unheard. Our team did in fact contact the neighbors below, but we are unable to inform the residents about how we address the behavior of another due to housing laws.

When addressing sensitive matters such as noise complaints, we must validate the disturbance. The long time resident below has no history of noise concerns from previous and current adjacent neighbors. Our team spoke with ***********************, ***************** roommate to assess her experience. She mentioned momentary door slams, vacuuming and at moments, audible talking in the day. However, she did not experience noises outside of the normal threshold. ****** made claims that loud shouting and vibrations occurred throughout the day. Also, that a neighbor below was following him around in his apartment home. We instructed ****************** to contact the police or the courtesy officer, if he experiences the disturbance or behavior he described again. On 11/29/2023, we followed up once more, and ****************** claims that he had not experienced the noises as much as before. As of today, we have not received a new complaint, or a police report.

Southern Managements highest priority is, and has always been, to provide comfortable and welcoming places for our residents to call home. Our goal is to address the concerns our residents bring to our attention. We find that this matter has been adequately addressed and continue to correspond with ****************** to assess his comfort. If you or ****************** have any questions, please contact the Resident Services at ************.

    Sincerely,

    *****************************
