I want to report a bait and switch violation. I went to the East Meadow NY store on Weds Nov 15 which is when the weekly sale starts. I wanted to buy six four oz packages of Norwegian Salmon which is in the circular at two packages for $6. They had none shown in the circular, but they had a similar looking package that said $5.49. I believe the brand was *****. When I got to the register, they said it was not on sale. I spoke to an employee who said the individual stores don't order their own products and didn't know why the sale item wasn't in or when it would be in stock. On Thursday Nov 16th I went to the Merrick NY store and the same thing happened. In addition to the Mowli brand they had another brand that said Norwegian Salmon. I don't think they had any intention to sell the advertised brand and wanted people to buy the similar looking ones at a higher price. I would like them to sell me the advertised item (six 4oz) or sell me the three 8oz size instead of the 4oz size for $6 each. They did have that size in stock. A copy of the ad is in the attached pdf. The item in question is in the top left corner. Next to Mix and MatchInitial Complaint

I purchased a ****** Gift Card in the amount of $75.00 on April 14, 2023. The Cashier assured me that it had been activated I asked her about activation slip and she stated it was my receipt. When I got home I checked the card and it had not been activated. Went directly back to store with card and receipt manager would not make it good said I would have to get it corrected through their corporate office. I sent all information on April 17, 2023. And each time I contact them they tell me it will be 2-3 weeks they are investigating it. I need help getting my money back. This happened in the Wilson, NC store on ********************. This apparently is how they do business. Thank you for any help you can give us getting money refunded.Initial Complaint

LIDL advertised a $20 myLidl coupon for spending $100 on gift cards. The ad did not iindicate a limit on the number of $20 coupons permitted. When quantaties are limited LIDL clearly indicates that in the ad.Since no limit on the $20 coupons was indicated we purchased $200 in gift cards on 11/23/22 and expected $40 in myLidl gift coupons. We were dissapointed when we only received $20 in myLIDL gift coupons instead of $40.We tried to resolve this directly with LIDL employees at the srore and customer service and were told they can't help us. This is clearly a case of a case of deceptive advertising.Initial Complaint

As a senior my ability to keep track of things especially receipts from 3 to 4 weeks ago is faulty. I am alone. A few weeks ago I purchased candy for Halloween at this store. Today I went to exchange 3 bags of unused Halloween candy to purchae or apply store credit for some walnuts and dried Prunes. Without a receipt one of the items was marked $4.49 I paid about $7. Walnuts are about 3.49 so I was taking a loss and got one bag of walnuts .However my 2 bags of 80 pieces of chocolate snack size bars ( **** **** ******* ****** etc had listed price of .99 cents for returns without a receipt and this was nowhere near what I paid. I had to take exception on a fixed income. Please note 3 or 4 weeks back Lidl's flyer had an advertisement for chocolates 80 pieces snack bars on sale! When I got to the store I was told that the shipment wasn't in and there was nothing they can do to substitute another bag . No rain check no substitutes.. I paid regular price for the 80 pieces on the shelf. The return price they offered was unacceptable. This complaint is of the inbalance of the sales price they put on this bag of chocolate. It is unreasonable. 2 bags of chocolate, slightly over $16 they wanted to offer me $2. Gift card. Yes I lost the receipt And the 80 count bag of chocolate that that I purchase wasn't even something on their inventory I was told by their management Several weeks ago. it was not on sale And no rain checks. At that Time they would not honor the price on the flyer. I was told they couldn'tGive me this bag for the Sale price listed on the flyer. However if this is store policy how about the credited price being Fair and reasonable!. I am filing a complaint because I feel this markdown of 99 cents is a disgrace! I paid full price regardless. Do the right thing please.Initial Complaint

I went to our Vineland Lidl store on July 15th and purchased a package of cooked shrimp that was labeled 26-30 count, 16 oz, 10.99 a pound. But not only did the package contain only 12 oz of shrimp, this package has 35-40 shrimp which is much smaller in size from 26-30. Feeling mislead, I reached out to Lidl that day via message on their website. They replied on 7/22 with a case number (********) asking me for a number of specific details, which I provided. On 7/27 they replied again with an odd message about the number of shrimp in the package and because it's not a pound that's why I'm getting 26-30 and not 35-40. Those numbers indicate the size of the shrimp, 26-30 are extra large, 35-40 are medium-large. And the math they were doing was actually incorrect, the package says 35-40 so their ridiculous reasoning still makes no sense. I sent back a very frustrated reply, I mean they are misleading customers and when you reach out to them they are making things up instead of making it right. With the way prices are, especially now, why can't they treat their customers with honesty and respect? I paid $11 for a pound of XL shrimp, as that is how it was labeled at the store - they have me 12 oz of medium shrimp, just make it right and stop making up stories!
