We drove 4 hours from Virginia, with the intention of bringing home the gray 2015 BMW X3 (VIN 5UXWX9C57F0D56604). We took the car (against head manager Ali N****** advice), to the BMW of Alexandria dealership for a PPI (pre-purchase inspection); this cost to us was $349 plus tax. Ali tried to tell us how expensive it would be and tried to deter us from doing this. Ali tried to send us to BMW of Fairfax, where he bragged he had a "foreman that could see the car off the books". I passed obviously. The service advisor at BMW of Alexandria, John M******, who knew Ali from servicing his own M3 there, checked us in. Later, John finally called us and explained they had finished and we could come get the car. He told us there were numerous, serious issues with the vehicle and he COULD NOT RECOMMEND BUYING IT. He went on to itemize all the issues individually. John told us the car was "MECHANICALLY TOTALED". The cost to repair everything wrong was near or over $20,000!!! This included replacing the entire engine! John explained, "there were chunks of metal in the oil pan when we drained it". How could any 1/2 competent mechanic miss this? Ali always a rebuttal or excuse for everything. There was "obvious water damage inside the cabin and around the battery" per John's report. The display screen had been changed out already and the WRONG screen installed, causing the pixel issues. John suspects the water damage is what ruined the original screen and “heads-up display” feature, which we noticed was not functioning during our test drive. There were oil splatters on the serpentine belt and tensioner. This was an indication of a blown engine that had been repaired with temporary fixes. They failed to replace the belt and tensioner so it was obvious to a competent mechanic what had happened. Multiple panels were missing from the undercarriage of the vehicle. There were suspension issues and the report stated "INCREASED CHANCE OF ROLL-OVER ACCIDENT". BUYER BEWARE!!!

I purchased a vehicle online and had it delivered. When it arrived it looked exactly like I was expecting it would from pictures. But before purchasing vehicle I ask was there any rust issues I was was told no. Now it’s a little older so rust is to be expected. But the rust underneath this is terrible! To the point that the spare tire rim is completely useless. So I gave them a call because I was told within 30 days if I noticed anything major wrong outside of my knowledge from them or the car ad that it wouldn’t be a problem to contact them about it. So I call like it was agreed would be fine to address the issue with one of 2 salesmen I recently had spoke with. With no hesitation I was told it was a final sale nothing they could do. I even offered that I pay 70% they pay 30% of repair. Still no help. Then they go to tell me I never spoke with either one of them another rust. Really bad business. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a vehicle from this establishment. And if you do, believe nothing over the phone! Check out everything in person.

Terrible service! Horrible experience with them! I purchased a used car (2018 Honda Odyssey, $20,495) on 2/15/2023. However, the Emission system light came on within 3 days after I picked it up with a temporal plate. I asked them to fix the emission system problem (e.g., the defect of the fuel injectors). It costs over $500. However, they did not fix it. Also, they promised that I will get a second key when I picked up the real plate later. When I came to here to pick the real plate after about 1 month from the purchase date, they gave me the second key with the missing part (i.e., metal key). I just asked them for the missing part of the second key. However, they lied that they sold the used car with a single key, and insisted that the second key with the missing part is normal, because the second key is not broken. How funny! They are definitely not honest. Also, they charged $1,000, which is the security deposit and will be refunded. However, they did not refund $1,000 until 1 month after the charge (on 3/19/2023).

To whom this may concern. I'm going to start off by saying that this car has been my nemesis since I purchased it. I saved up 4k to put a decent down payment on what I thought was a good vehicle. I have been having issues with it since the first week. It didn't pass inspection when I first brought it ( so I brought it back to you and you "fixed" some of the issues). Not even a month later, I had to get tires and of course they couldn't get them off because the rods were rusted (I had to pay for that, plus tires (4)). A few months after that I was losing fluids. There was a hole somewhere around the engine. That was all at the end of 2021. This year it has been check engine after check engine light. My PCM needed to be replaced and most recently I was leaking engine oil and just fixed that. Now I finally go to the VA inspection (because I was encouraged to get VA tags...and it failed). How does a vehicle that was sold to me just last year in great condition...with one owner (my salesman stated he knew the owner and he was a good guy and kept the car in good shape) and with all of the repairs i've done in one year...how does it fail inspection. I'll tell you how...because I was sold a lemon. The car was definitely not taken care of, I know your dealership only did the minimum repairs to sell it. I work hard and I just had a baby and I saved my money to get a good vehicle from what I thought was a reliable place with quality cars, but I was fooled just like the others that have come there and were sold lemons. It's not right and best believe you will be reported to the BBB. Sincerely, Your PO customer

I bought an Audi Q5, 2016 in January 2022, at BMW dealer a week later the car started to give a problem, the engine light came on, I contacted the manage Tony several times, he promised to solve the problem and until today nothing, he doesn't even answer my calls and no email, now it's October and I had to change the engine, they sold a car with an engine problem and promised to fix it. I have all the information to back up my claims provided by the BMW dealer. BMW junk dealership .
