    I called America Remembers talked to the owner *****************. Ask him for a Certificate of Authenticity to a ************************* Tribute legally in my name with back round check and ownership of rifle. **** said he doesnt issue any losses of literature on the contents of the gun. I ask if they had a policy for such reasons and he said no he doesnt want to because of thiefs or crooks that steal guns and fake documents. He made me feel neglected and terrible like I was a criminal. I ask him I would offer my social security number and serial number to rifle to provide Im a clean honest American citizen. He refused to accept so I ask him for a written policy that they dont replace any certificate because of someone misplaced or accidentally thrown away. He didnt have a written policy and told me he was the owner of the business and can make any verbal statements or decisions on his behalf. All I wanted was the certificate of Authenticity certificate because Im the legal owner of rifle in my name. Im definitely feeling degraded as **** was refraining I was a criminal and a thief.Sincerely *******************

    As noted in the complaint, we do not issue certificates to anyone but the original purchaser. We had issues in the past when we issued corticates to a subsequent owner of the firearm. We therefore decided certificates would not be issued to anyone except the original purchaser.
