There are not enough characters to explain why you should NOT buy a home from HHHunt Homes of Raleigh. First, as an active duty military female who works in a predominantly male career field, I have NEVER felt so condescended and dismissed as I have by this companyfrom before closing being "told how I felt" by their sales manager as I wanted to hold them accountable for issues and delays to my closing, to the dismissive attitudes and lack of urgency and follow-up of their site managers when concerns were made, to comments made by the ** that since I was not part of the design, I need to "deal" with some of their poor design choices. It has been one problem after another. I expected issues with a new build but their treatment and the issues have been unsatisfactory. Before closing, they couldn't find permit documents which delayed closing... which allowed the discovery of the back sliding door being installed wrong causing flooding in the house, which was its own delay and drama of poor communication and action from their team to get completed. Fast forward, the house was closed and the inept site manager failed to do his quality control inspection or provide me warranty info. Within two days of being in my house, I had to call about the ** not working. It took THREE units and TWO months in the ** summer heat of me not having a working ** for them to get the problem fixed. At NO POINT did I ever receive any sort of reach out or compensation for having to live in a brand new house that could not get below 75 degrees and would be upwards of 80 plus by end of day. Upper management wasn't tracking or even involved until I reached out for their info informing them of an issue. That was the biggest issue. There are multiple minor issues due to an inept site manager that management refuses to address because of the costs it will take to correct his laziness and it is "good enough" to last their 1yr warranty but will cause issues down the road. THEY ARE HORRIBLE.
