Saw many bad reviews for Mega Plumbing, but my experience was great. The installers of my OTR microwave were excellent. They knew exactly what to do, did it quickly, cleanly, and well. There was a small problem that they resolved and completed the job. Showed me some of the uses, and were done in 45 minutes. Took the old unit and left. Dont know what others have experienced but my job was PERFECT.Mega Plumbing Corp

Not sure why this company has such a low grade when if you look at the reviews for them on ****** they have a 4.8 out of 5 with over *****. Maybe they are only reviewed here when there is a bad experience? I had a flawless install of a dishwasher and microwave, the installers were polite and professional.Mega Plumbing Corp

1 starTerrible! Absolute worst experience! Installers came out spent less than 1 minute in my home and said the job could not be done. They said my old microwave was hard wired and I needed to have an electrician come out to install an outlet. I asked if the old microwave could please be removed to see what we were dealing with and they said, "no." I tried asking a couple other questions as they were leaving my home and they no longer understood English and promptly left. I hired/paid an electrician to come out only to find the old microwave was NOT hard wired and indeed plugged into an outlet. Tried calling Mega Plumbing back to reschedule the installation only to have the receptionist yell over me while I was talking and kept calling me a racist. I called Lowes, and requested the owner of Mega Plumbing to call me and have not heard anything since. Lowes will not do anything about their deplorable subcontractor and will not send anyone else out to complete the installation. I prepaid $160 (plus taxes) for a service that was not provided by Lowes or Mega Plumbing. Wanted to leavea zero star rating.Review fromJackie G

1 starMega was contacted as the company that Lowes uses to install washer dryers. Mega showed up at my home to do an install from Lowe’s & clearly they didn’t want to the job or deal with an older woman. As soon as the man heard the install was on the upper floor it was clear he didn’t want due yo rolling his eyes and body language. jHe went upstairs where the units were to go he brushed past me into my living room/ dining room area, removed items off my wall as he noticed a small section of the wall had been worked on. Took a photo of thst area and said this was the access to the dryer. I told him it wasn’t.He didn’t even look at where the access.. I informed him that cut was from when a bird flu into the dryer vent. The only way to remove the bird was to cut a section of the dry wall out. I protested this wasn’t the access at all but he proceeded to say this was a violation and he was taking the washer dryer back to Lowe’s. He told Lowe’s this issue and showed them the photo of that part of the dry wall. I asked both Mega Plumbing and Lowe’s to give me the code numbers that this guy stated was out if code. Neither business could give me these codes . I was told they were too busy to return the appliances to Lowes also. So no installation, no proof of code violation no items returned to Lowe’s! A person can tell if they are being discriminated against, it’s very clear as this was the case. If my husband was alive and standing there I know the appliances would have been installed. It was clear this man came in my home not wanting to work. He had no .right to enter areas of my home where he didn’t ask to go nor was permission granted. Also when a company can’t orovude you with a valid reason or documentation of a code they state is a violation then beware. If a company state they are returning an appliance to a major store without giving anything in writing, beware. Clearly this is a queastionale company. that Lowe’s should not affiliate with.Review fromRoy N

1 starBought a dishwasher. Wanted installation and Lowe's sub contracted this company. Man was extremely rude. He was unfriendly and refused to do our installation. We just wanted him out of our house asap. He even told us how he would not be paid for his time.Only wish we got his name and could give him a negative 1Review fromPaul D

1 starMega Plumbing was contracted through Lowe's to install a dishwasher. The salesperson at Lowe's warned me about them and apologized that Lowe's only contracts with them for installs now and does not offer the option for other local and trustworthy installers. When they arrived they told me that they needed to replace the water shutoff under the sink and I agreed. They couldn't find a valve on their truck and told me they needed to go to the store to get one and would call when they were on the way back. After an hour and a half I called their company to find out when they would be back. The customer service representative had a hard time trying to get in touch with the installer. Once they finally got in touch they told me they they should be back within 45 minutes. One hour later they had still not arrived and I managed to get in touch with the technician on the number he originally called from. He told me they were finishing up with another customer and would be back with me in around 30 minutes. 4 1/2 hours after they first arrived and 4 hours after they left to get a valve they finally decided return to the original job. The excuse they gave was that they had to keep on schedule for their other jobs which is why they moved on to other customers instead of returning to finish the job. The nearest hardware store where they could have gotten the part is 5 minutes away. Overall their performance and attitude towards customers it is unacceptable.Review fromKatie W

1 starMega Plumbing was contracted by Lowe's to install my dishwasher. Not only did they show up 2 hours late (blaming it on "weather" when it was a sunny clear day), but when the showed up at 4:30 pm on a Friday they claimed that they didn't have the right equipment to install my dishwasher and I would have to pay an additional fee and reschedule my installation. I asked for them to return the dishwasher to the store so that I could figure out what to do. When I called their office on the following Monday morning, I was told that Lowe's had canceled by installation. I called Lowe's and they told me that Mega Plumbing told them that I didn't want to pay the fee and I didn't want the dishwasher installed. I informed Lowe's that I did not want the dishwasher installed by that company. However, Lowe's stated that they no longer contract with any other installation companies locally. I canceled my order and went with another appliance store to purchase my dishwasher. Would not recommend using them or Lowe's for any appliance installation.Review fromBeverly F

1 starMega Plumbing was contracted through Lowe's to install a gas range stove on May 8, 2022.. However, it was installed improperly after a few hours installation there was a gas leak in my home. I had to contact gas company to send a technician to turn off gas. The incident put my family in danger. Lowe's customer service contacted Mega Plumbing about the improper installation, someone came the next week reinstall it. I will not recommend.
