    Keffer Realty apparently lets realtors hang there license in the office to operate only. Keffer is a name only business and you cannot get anything resolved through this office. REALTORS can hang their license to conduct property management business. When it comes time for payments for services rendered no one takes the responsibility. That sounds like a scam. DO NOT caught up with anything Keffer Realty Related. I will be reporting this to the Board for Realtors, Department of Licensures and Consumer protection.

    Real estate agents & property managers are independent agents. Typically their clients are responsible for any debts incurred on behalf of their clients, usually paid through Keffer Realty from rent proceeds or owner payment. Pool Scouts was hired by the tenant without authorization, not by our agent, in the summer of, 2024. Pool Scouts sent the invoice to Keffer Realty but initially refused to complete the required vendor documents (liability & workman's comp insurance, Fed ID number for 1099, etc) without which we do not process payment. Pool Scouts finally completed the vendor documents in early October but we have not received any rent from the tenant from which which payment could be made since then and the owner is refusing to send funds as he did not authorize the work to be done. The problem is that Pool Scouts did not verify the tenant had authority to order the repair and did not contact either the agent, the owner or Keffer Realty until after the work was done and then delayed completing the required vendor documents, without which payment cannot be processed. When (if) the tenant makes the next rent payment, any outstanding invoices will be paid even though Pool Scouts did the work without proper authorization.. Alan K***** Principal Broker
