The date of transaction was 9/17/24.Took my wife's 2014 ****** Corolla in for a pre-purchase inspection. Told them about a few issues it had multiple times during the process. Was told after everything was fine. Picked up the car, and the MAIN issue I had was not addressed and was there. Along with some other things we noticed and was missed. I do not feel like they did an inspection at all or did not complete a thorough inspection. Too many things missed. I feel more worried about the purchase of this car than when we took it in. Their website says "Once were done, well give you a copy of our completed inspection assessment to help youthe potential car buyermake an informed purchase." We were not given any type of report. Just a receipt with a handwritten note about the window. Nothing in a official report about the major issue. Website also had a $5 discount on the service and the store denied the coupon. I feel taken advantage of and do not trust this business or what they claimed to do. I have tried contacting them multiple ways with no response at all. Attached is a screenshot of messages to them. I also filled out a contact us form on their website.

In January of this year (2024) Virginia Tire & Auto of Chesterfield (VT&A) installed rear brakes on my car. On 7/16/2024 I had my car inspected at a different inspection station. They failed my car for improperly installed brakes, driver side rear brake. I took my car back to VT&A and they told me that there is nothing wrong with my brakes and they will not honor the warranty and fix them. At I asked them what am I supposed to do since I have a failed inspection. They told me to pay them $20 and they would inspect my car and pass it. I took the car back to inspection station that failed my car and told them that VT&A said the brakes are installed correctly. The inspection station was adamant about my brakes being installed wrong, they explained why and how they should have been installed and adjusted. I got the impression that VT&A just didn't want to do the work to fix it. Even just explaining to me that the brakes were fine they wanted to charge me. I'm stuck between the two shops, I will probably have to pay a 3rd shop to inspect the car now. I have no way of knowing if my brakes are installed properly and that I'm getting the full braking power and that my driver side rear brake will not wear out prematurely.
