    The house we purchased from them in 2015 at the address stated- is where the problem is at! We have tried to resolve the issue and they did send an Engineer out who provided pictures to us and informed us that YES there is a problem.(The front porch of the house is Sinking and detaching) from the house! Structural concerns since we noticed: they have refused to repair the defect and now wont answer any of our calls ( **** ****) the builder! Our Warranty is up in 10 years and I believe that is what he wants. All we would like is for the property to be restored to how its supposed to be . Please advise and help us!

    After sending one of our Superintendent's out to meet with the homeowners & take a look at the issue, the builder has deemed the concrete situation is not a major structural defect. The concrete is inside of the structural foundation portion of the front porch. The concrete has no structural value, which is why it was not covered under the structural warranty. We are going to work with the customer to try and cosmetically resolve the problem. We will keep you posted on the progress of the resolution.

    I am complaining about landscaping issues on the right side of my house and my backyard. I have been complaining about the right side of my house for over a year and a half and I just started complaining about my backyard since its been flooding once they did a new build. I have spoken with several people and the finer company, I have spoken with *****, **** and ******* and regards to this matter. I have also sent them text messages and video of the side of my house in the back of my house, leading to no avail. I have walked to the model house. When I noticed someone was there they will give me enough information to appease me or make me quiet stating that they will get on it as soon as possible. Still, no one have called or contacted me after several messages that I have left and I would like to know what else is there that I can do to get this resolved.

    Hello BBB, we have built and bought a house through Finer Homes on 4/1/22 (closing date). First of all, this date was a far cry of a date that they initially promised to us (about 3-4 months off), and they also increased the price of the house and told us to either pay up the increased price or look for a different home. Right before we closed the deal however, we found many things that were wrong with the house and they promised us that they would get to them as we live through their limited warranty.They have an obligation to fulfill their promises to fix up the house on our wishes based on our closing day list, 90 day list, and our 1-year list, based on their limited warranty. They have agreed through verbal agreement and through texts that they will complete everything on the list but as it is 2/2/23 today, almost reaching the point where we will be filling out the 1-year list, almost nothing has been done from the lists. We have tried to contact them multiple times in order to schedule a date, however they will either cancel on us the day of, or just ignore our texts and/or phone calls. We need your help in order to have them keep their words and their written agreement to fix the things on the closing day list and the 90 day list almost 10 months after the closing day list has been signed off on.     I built my home on Oct 29th, 2020 and I was informed during the walk through I would have the following items completed. ********* replaced, hard wood flooring **************** upstairs in the master bedroom and closet and hallway replaced. Also the molding on the kitchen floor redone and the front door replaced due to the dent in the door.

    I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The information typed is inaccurate. I have called the office several time to speak with ***************** and he never returned my phone calls. He never offered to paint and fix the door he just offered to put on the kick plate where I stated I didn't want that I was promised a replacement door and that is what I am looking for. I did not move the furniture Finer Homes moved my furniture due to a plumbing link in my gift bathroom they didn't catch and damaged my entire kitchen flooring. I was told they would fix the molding of my floor and also the company they used Richmond Decorating came out and was waiting on ***************** to give them the green light to fix the items but he never followed up with Richmond Decorating to complete the scratches on the hard wood floor. The ********* was told to me at the walk through they would fix it but there guy that fixed those items where out due to a physical condition injury and he was just waiting on him to come back but **** never communicated with me at all when the guy would return and fix my *********. **** came to my home this year and saw the carpet upstairs was messing up and said he would get Richmond Decorating to fix the carpet since it was to new to be messing up this early. I have called Finer Homes office several time and left so many messages with ****** also I have spoken with ***** which she help sell the home and she has tried to contact **** as well about my complaints from the final walk through her number is ************. I have spoken with ********************* daughter who is the office manager and she hasn't called me back and said she would follow up with the items and also I have spoken with **** son ******* that has come to my home to fix some items but never came back to address all of them. I am very disappointed they are not keeping there promise as a company and I am not pleased with this outcome and I would like something further to be done please.

    I have reviewed Ms. ***** response and can only say that it is not true. Customers can say anything they want to but do not have any documentation to back their claims. In this case, all of the documentation proves Finer Homes to be the honest party. When reviewing the documentation attached, please take the time to investigate the timing of her complaints versus the dates of documentation. I feel we have gone above and beyond to satisfy *************
    Attached are numerous documents that will help provide an accurate representation of the situation.

    We ask that the BBB does their due diligence to review our supporting documents in order to make a decision regarding this claim. We have repeatedly denied her the items she is requesting to be completed as they are not included in our warranty and have been addressed after her warranty expiration. She continues to make false claims and we need a resolution from the BBB to determine future action.

I have attached many text messages to my Rep that is handling my account to show the items they said they should have corrected. I spoke with the owner ***** and he said he would replace those items and I would like them completed. I have not been in my home 3 years yet and I have had issues with this company from day one with the Sod and other items I have listed on the list. I would like someone to please call me to let me know the next steps I can take so I can have the items complete as I was told.
