    1. The business card from fresh cut tree service shows BBB Accredited Business. ************************ shows that the business is NOT accredited. This misleads customers.2. On December **************************** cut down a tree for me and I wrote them a check for $3500 which they deposited immediately. Speaking face-to-face with the *******, I requested a receipt. He said he did not have one but would tell the owner, ******* ******. I have a text message from ******* ****** dated 2:27PM EST on 12/27/24 that Ill have a receipt over to you tomorrow. This has NOT happened. Not providing receipts for payments made, and falsely claiming BBB Accreditation, deservein fact REQUIREaction be taken.

    We have worked with this company for years without issue. To get the sale they often say that you can post date a check and they will not cash it until the date on the check. We have never had problems before with this. But this time they cashed the check. Rather than taking the check to the bank where it would have been stopped until the date, they took it to a checking cashing company so that they would accept the check. This shows that it was a deliberate choice to try and cash the check early, not just a mistake. I also found out that they did it to everyone they had a post dated check from that month.
