I purchased a vehicle on June 12, 2024 and its a 2018 Buick enclave this vehicle has been giving me nothing but an headache so first of all my friend purchased the vehicle first 5/39/2024 when we got the vehicle he wasnt able to talk to the finance company so the finance company took the loan back Then the car had shut down on me completely with no power so Eastern motors towed the car back to their location in ********* on ***************** thats when I end up purchasing the vehicle on June 12 2024 they had the car for almost 2 weeks after that saying that it was an alternator now on July 16 2024 for the check engine light is on saying that reading of codes are sayin I need a catalytic converter and bank1 O2 sensor so I just started to look over my contract at this point and Im getting ready to contact the lawyer because I cannot get in contact with nobody from corporate of eastern motors they are charging me $3500 for Safegaurd premier warranty which it only cost 1695 for that warranty. All I kept stressing is that I want it gap insurance. this is my second time dealing with Easternmotors my first time the first salesman I had it back in 2019 was wonderful I went to the ************ location but this ********* location stay away from because this is a headache all I know is now I have to come out of pocket almost $3000 for labor and parts to get a car fixed.so back to the contract Eastern motors have $2800 from us and they are calling me to get $700 saying thats what I owe or theyre going to come and repossess the car when the finance company already paid . The Safegaurd premier package is not even active because Ive been calling them for three days to see when the package will be active. I just want my money back and Ill get my own service Contact and Ill get my own car fixed. I am about to complain to ** states attorney office next.Review from Tom M

5/3/24: Purchased car from Easterns Automotive Group, Reisterstown Rd, W. ***** Dealer refused to waive Dealer Processing Charge (their prerogative)Car filthy inside & out (in dealer possession >3 mos)Car had only 1 key fob, held together with tape Was told car compatible with Apple CarPlay (factored into purchase decision)Made appt for 5/23 to take car back for detailing & get 2nd key, floor mats, Owners Manual Unable to take car on highway during test drive. Soon after purchase discovered front end shakes at highway speed. Asked dealer to check front end. Request refused.5/3: Provided with floor ************* manual. Detailing, 2nd key, tags unavailable 5/6: Asked dealer to ensure fluid levels topped off; ensure caps on tire valves; & ensure all tire pressures equal.Not done.5/24 (3 wks after purchase): Car detailed & 2nd key provided. ********* discovered original emergency key did not work, so new emergency key also wont work.5/29: Emailed dealer to ask about *************end alignment, & about CarPlay. Brief message back saying they would call when tags arrive.Have since learned Apple CarPlay not available on this model car. No comment from dealer.6/3: Emailed salesman again to ask about front-end. No response.6/4: Emailed manager. Was told dealer would do nothing more.6/6: Took car to ****** Dealership to have front end checked. All 4 tires were way out of balance. ****** Dealership balanced *********** rides smoothly.Carfax report provided at time of purchase clearly stated new tires installed & balanced by Easterns 3/27/24. Cost to me: $279.95.6/26: Phoned Easterns to see if tags were in. Was told no.7/1: Phoned Easterns twice about tags No answer. Called MD MVA; was told tags mailed to Easterns 5/22. Drove to Easterns & asked in person for tags. Tags were given to me. I mentioned they had not called. They insisted they did.Easterns Automotive Group is sorely lacking in customer service. This company is horrible!! I am making this complaint bc I dont want anyone to experience what I went through! First, the vehicle needed a wheel alignment, smh. How and why would you sale a car like this? Back tires had little to no tread. It was over priced, but I wanted and needed a vehicle at this time bad, so I brought it. I put that on me. I guess I wanted a new car so bad I didnt pay attention to what was in front of my face. The car had a bad odor. I asked them to clean the car. They said they would detail it. So when I got the car back I smelled the clean car smell, but after a few days it wore off. I cleaned the car as much as I could: it was so much food in the car, in between the seats stuck. What type of company does this?! I have replaced both rear tires, and the battery. The paint is cracked in the back where there was a dent. The rubber is eaten up behind the doors. I feel like something else is wrong w/ this car too. It doesnt drive smooth. I understand its used, but I dont understand how they sold me this car like this! If you plan on purchasing a vehicle from this company please beware! Pay attention!Review from Robert W

Stay far away from this place. They only care about making a deal. They dont care about the consumer. In March of 2024 i bought a 2018 ***** Accord from salesman, *******************************. The car didnt have a tire **** or front tag bracket. ******************* told me he would take care of my issue and once he sold the car he never responded to my multiple attempts to get my issue resolved. Additionally, I was required to pay over ****** for low **** ******* and on May 4, 2024 my low **** ****** stopped working. I made multiple attempts to get the low **** issue resolved to no avail. I will never buy another car from this company or refer anyone to this company.Review from Ashley T

To start off with Eastern's owes me a vent replacement that was put in my contract and 3 months later I have not received it. Now, my vehicle is currently at the ***** dealer with malfunctioning sensors. I was told by ***** this is due to Easterns splicing into the sensor wiring to add ************* to the vehicle. This will NOT be covered by my warranty due to it being their fault. I have called corporate multiple times with no success of speaking to someone about this issue. I want Easterns to take responsibility for the cost of the problem they caused which is $775!!!Review from Darryl K

I had been speaking with Jay N**** for several days. He assured me that I was approved after I asked him several time because I know the difference in pre-approved and approved. I told him that I wasn’t going to the dealer with just a pre-approval. So nevertheless, he told me to go to the dealer and he was forwarding all my paperwork over and ask for the manager name (Anthony). So I did. I get there and basically had to do everything all over again. Mind you I did the application on line. So once again before hand I asked him was I approved. Again he said yes and told me the amount of the approval. So needless to say he said they had programs that I qualified for and that the bank that did the approval wanted money down that they were going to pay on my behalf I just had to go into the dealer to finalize. So, all that he told me were lies and the bank wanted a large down payment in order to finalize the deal. I express to him that I didn’t want my time wasted that I been turned down and would need a co-signer. So he just lied to me for days and they kept texting me to go into the dealer to be embarrassed which I didn’t want and expressed that to him. I was unaware that they get something I’m not sure what for sending people to the dealership. Point is they made me waste my time and the person that I had take me there. I’m so glad that I didn’t get dropped off because he told me that I was going to drive off the lot today. After reading the reviews I’m kind of glad because they said a lot of them cars are lemons and had been in accidents, rust and other issues. Let’s me go back a second Anthony had nothing to do with this. My issue is with Jay. He is a liar and misrepresented the sale and approval of said sale. I am concerned that this has happened to several of people and I think something should be done. It’s false advertising and misleading.Review from Aaron M

I had to give one star fr,I had Adam contact me back and forth for hours!! Lining up everything before I took a hundred dollars in Uber to them because they reviewed my credit report and that i was good for 29k.. straight up screwed me out a day of work and $100, straight up liars!!!told me to bring $1500 for down payment, smh DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!Review from LAKEISHA T

Worst place I've ever done business with. I did not like the vehicle I purchased so when I reached out to Mike R******* (my salesman) to explain the things wrong with the Mitsubishi he said come on in and let's get you traded. When I got there it was a different story. Manager tells me I've gone over my mileage (500 or 7 days) so I couldn't trade.. NOONE said 500 miles, they stressed I only had 7 days. Well at day 4 the tires went flat twice and the gas gauge kept going up and down. After going back and forth they reluctantly fixed my issues. Fast forward 2 weeks and my temp tags were stolen. Check my temp registration they gave me and it not only is for ANOTHER vehicle, it's in my cosigner's name that I never even used. I could have been pulled over and arrested driving a car that wasn't registered to me at all. HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN? TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE PLS PLS PLS. MIKE R******* IS THE WORST SALESMAN I KNOW. STAY AWAY FROM EASTERN MOTORS HYATTSVILLE MD
