I paid $904.53 in late fees for a car loan in five years, plus they sneakily added a $ 20-a-month fee for some added-value service (I don't know what it was for to this day). I didn't realize I was getting charged a late fee, and I would have made sure it wasn't a day late if I had known. I've been late throughout the years because I work in tech and there have been mass layoffs over the past couple years and it affected me. The woman who calls me regularly almost relishes leaving me nasty messages and emails. My car has been close to repossession a few times and she didn't even mention they have a 3 months of not paying solution. I'm going to call the local news (I have a contact) to make this into a story. It directly contradicts their brand message of "loving their neighbor customers"!

I gave this company 5000 2 years ago to open a secured credit card. I have 0 missed payments, I pay my balances in full, and I now have a 786 credit score. I have credit cards with other banks up which are credit cards are unsecured for north of 50,000 for one of my credit cards. I called today for them to upgrade my card to a better card which gives me rewards and to release back my 5000 due to my creditworthiness, I was told they saw I have an excellent score due to the soft pull they do but they would not be able to upgrade my card unless I did a hard inquiry. They said that there's a certain group of people that qualify for this without a hard pull but I do not. I asked why, they said they are not allowed to say. I said how's my score? Excellent. Payment history? excellent. Credit usage? excellent. So how do I not qualify and why am I not being told the reason why I don't qualify for an upgrade. Now I'm being told there's no option to upgrade, you have to close your account and get a new credit card. Which hits your credit score because of a closed account and also lessens your credit age by opening a new account. This bank is very predatory on people with bad credit and I will be closing all of my accounts with them tomorrow.

No customer service exists basically, they’ll let fraud occur on your account and when you try to clear it, they’ll just send you to a collections agency instead. They blatantly steal your money and waste your time.

Don't use Apple for a car loan. I recently did and have regretted it every step of the way. First, when I showed up at my branch with the ****** lease-buyout paperwork, the branch representative had no clue what to do to help me process my loan application. When I finally got the loan processed a month later with the payoff finalized, I then had to argue with Apple to get the title so I could title and register the vehicle at the DMV and pay my taxes. They acted like they had never heard of such a thing. Now on my second trip to DMV, they are turning me away because Apple did not include a bill of sale with the packet they sent me. I called Apple, who said DMV doesn't require a bill of sale on a lease buyout. Then why the heck is the DMV telling me they do? So now I'm sitting in limbo with DMV, Apple, and ****** all telling me there is nothing they can do to help me. I guess I'm just supposed to drive around an untitled, unregistered vehicle????
