Spoke to *** (company agent) on October 19 about my auto transport need. I had informed him I was in contact with several other shipping companies and would do business with whom ever could get my vehicle picked up the soonest. I told him that I needed the truck picked up by the weekend (24th). He put me on hold while he said he would check with dispatch to be sure they could arrange that. He then told me over the phone that they had a driver and it would be picked up on that Saturday (23rd). So, I then agreed to do business with this company. Both parties signed a binding offer/contract. Saturday arrived and they could not get my truck picked up for delivery. They then tried to tell me the signed contract has a guaranteed pick up date by the 26th. I shared with them the conversation I had on the phone (which they likely have recorded) and I was promised a Saturday pick up. Nonetheless, I told them to get it picked up by the contract date (26th), which they failed to do. So now I am stuck with trying to find another shipper and it will cost me more money. Flat Price was doing it for $1751, now I am having to pay $2000 to another shipper because prices keep going up daily due to nationwide driver shortage. On top of that if the vehicle is not off the dealer lot by the 1st of November I will have to pay storage costs. I was deceived and lied to buy this company, even with a full signed and executed contract which they did not honor. I cancelled the order today because it is the 26th and they did not honor their commitment and promise.
