    FC Auto sold us a vehicle with extensive NEW auto body repair work on three sides per our mechanic during Maryland inspection. It had a clean no accident ******. I have pictures of interior rust. The vehicle only had appx 58,000 miles ln it at purchase on 2/26/23. It also had a broken latch on it which was the safety issue that they attempted to repair after purchase. During the 1st attempt they broke a wire so I had to return a second time that is when I was offered a loaner or to return home and leave the car there to return a 3rd time due to it taking 5 hours to replace a wire and touch up rust. Below is the email communication and asking for reimbursement for my time and money spent on repairs that should have occurred BEFORE the sale and extra charges. $760 Reinbursement This is my last email to ****** * at FC Auto on 3/23/23 The fees you are referring to are not title fees. Title fees are $100. PERIOD The wipers needed replaced and during inspection in Maryland we had to replace the rear wipers! The interior of the vehicle was filthy. I personally had to clean it before my nephew put his children in the vehicle ( I have pics) You attempted to sell the vehicle with a broken latch and a safety issue.What if we hadn't checked it? The door did not open from the exterior. During my 1st visit I was not offerred a loaner or gas. I was offerred a loaner AFTER my Second visit. You broke the wire during install and I had to return again. You blame the ***** Dealership for that issue. I had to return because of your mistake. You offered a loaner after me traveling there TWICE without one. It was offerred on the second visit because instead of two hrs it took five hours to fix the wire and touch up paint. So I got 1/4 tank of gas and car wash for spending 15 hrs counting travel time to your business to correct a repair that should have been fixed prior to the sale! There was a horrible paint job for extensive damage which was not disclosed. I have pictures of rust on numerous interior parts of the vehicle which was stated to only have appx 58,000 miles on it. During inspection the mechanic identified front, whole right side and rear bumper NEW paint!!!! Clean ******!? As for the VA tag you said it would be Maryland when I ask day one if the temporary tags were Maryland. I am now asking for reimbursement of travel time, fuel less than the 1/4 tank and detailing of the interior of the vehicle. Fuel $45 My time is worth 30/hr x15hrs=$450 Plus the extra $40 tag/title fees. I hope this email finds you well. The processing fee is what we charge on every transaction, whether we register the vehicle for the client or not. It is a standard fee across the board. As for titling in MD, $100 is to produce a new title, $20 is to record a lien on the title since you need to obtain a loan to pay for the vehicle. The remaining $20 is a service fee that gets charged to us through our system that has us linked with MVA to do this. I also see in the purchase order that we did not charge you the $3.50 for temporary tags and registration but did provide that as well. I hope you can see from day one we wanted to deliver a good experience when purchasing the vehicle through us, I know there were some mishaps with the door latch but that is something that is not in our control and ended up falling victim to the timeline of the ***** Dealership. We would gladly jump on a call with you and the Attorney General, we have been proudly doing business in the City of Falls Church since 1994 and plan to continue to do so. I also hope you can see we did take your time into consideration and offered to fill up your gas tank, provide a loaner and also re-clean the car all at no charge to you. We also agreed immediately to replace the wipers and cabin air filter that did not need replacing but did so anyway to keep you happy. I am not sure what else we can do in our power to continue to keep you happy, if it is the $20 you are not happy about we would gladly see what can be done about this.     Avoid This Dealership.I argued with a salesman for selling me a car that needed a fluid leak fix 3 days after purchase and passed inspection(with window tints(17%) I paid out of pocket to take off). I asked if the tints were fine they said to me there fine to pass inspection. They absolutely refused to help me and said the fixes I needed had nothing to do with the contract. I literally paid 27k to this dealership based off of trust and having faith that they would take care of me and some small requests that were detrimental to the car. I currently have to take them to court now and will let justice be served if need be.
