I have the mechanic on video stating all of my parts would be in 2 weeks after I paid him, which was December 25th of 2023. Here we are now, a month later and he hasnt given me anything but a headlight that costs $235. He stated I needed more parts for him to complete the job that totals in $1400 in extra parts. Spending the extra $1400 for more parts is not an issue.. the issue is why would I give him $1400 more and he hasnt provided anything from the original $2075 purchase but a headlight that costs $235. Something just seems fishy. When I asked him about delivering the rest of my parts, he continuously gives me the run around Ill drop it of this weekend. The weekend comes and goes (2 weekends to be exact) and he never shows face.. this past week he stated he would have his associate deliver my parts on Tuesday. I have text messages of him Stating he would call me and let me know when the associate was on his way. Of course the associate never showed up.I finally confronted him about the situation today expressing my disdain and threatening small claims court. I told him he had 3 options. Deliver my parts, refund me my money , or we will take this the court. He said my parts were special ordered and there will be no refund. Then he blocked me. Am I being unreasonable with my expectations of him or is he just providing bad business? He also mocked me stating that if I couldnt afford the extra $1400 worth of parts thats all I had to say.. not knowing I recently purchased a car thats highly modifiable and Im looking to drop around $10k into the car in modifications once the body work is done. All of this is via text message. Every conversation.

This dispute is about Mr. *********** *** and his 2016 Cadillac ATS. In December, ************** had reached out to us and wanted an estimate for some body repairs. After he had contacted us we requested ************** to send over photos of the damage. We had a phone conversation about what needed to be done to repair his vehicle. So, ************** agreed to send over  the photos and I would review them to generate an estimate. I created an estimate based off the photos ************** sent in. And I told him that this estimate is based off the pictures you sent in and there may  be additional damage that we can't see in the photos. So ************** agreed to pay the deposit to order parts because they were not in stock, and they were all special order. So I met ************** at a gas station near his home and picked up the deposit. Then I ordered the part that I believed that were needed to repair the vehicle. But I told him I believed there may be additional parts that are needed, but I won't know until we start doing our teardown process. Some parts started to come in and I went ahead and we started doing the teardown process before the rest of the parts came in. Because it was over the winter holiday, during that time *** runs slow right around Christmas, we also had several snow storms, there was a delay in receiving the parts. So, we went ahead with the teardown process, and got the vehicle completely ton apart and we noticed there were additional parts needed for the repair. ************** asked how much additional it would cost to repair the vehicle, and I told him to give me a day or two to call around so I can price the parts. After, I priced the parts I sent ************** a quote on how much  more additional it would cost to repair the vehicle. I sent ************** the quote and he said let me think about it and I will get back to you. During that time frame, I had slipped on black ice and I've been out because of my injury. And I told ************** to let us know when you want to get the repairs done. So, two weeks go by and ************** finally reached back out to me and says I changed my mind I want to repair the vehicle by myself, just drop off my parts. And I told **************, I will try to get all the parts over to you, they are in big boxes. So I delivered the boxes to him and I told him to give me a couple of days and I will try to deliver the bumper. Then he started asking about his fender cover, and I told him we were experiencing shipping delays. Then that's' when ************** started texting back and forth and I told him to be patient, it's coming. So I had one of my guys who just recently quit, I asked him to drop off the parts to ************** before he quit, but he did not get a chance to do that. After he quit, he never confirmed to me that he was able to drop the parts off or not. I later found out that he never dropped them off. Then ************** texted back and forth on the cell phone, and I told him I hadn't been working and had been out because of my knee. I asked ************** if he wanted us to fix the vehicle, and he has threatened to take us to court, call the commissioner, and file complaints. He's saying that I'm holding on to all of his money and started making insults through text messages. I told him no problem, if he wants to go to court we can settle it in court. He's requesting a refund. I told him there's no refund on special order parts. At that point I was done playing the phone game with ************** because he was being unreasonable. I told him that when I was well I would bring the parts to him and he could fix his vehicle the way he wanted to. I told him that he didn't want to finish the job the right way, and that we don't do shortcut work here. I told him if he's still trying to fix it I would drop everything off, enjoy his life, and have a good one.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I am not satisfied with this response due to the simple fact of he's lying. This "man" never delivered any boxes to my house. He only dropped off a headlight that costs $215 that came in a s styrofoam protective packaging. He states he was injured yet he has ****** reviews clearly naming him specifically and his associate helping someone out with their car. Essentially he is holding my parts hostage because I did not want to spend $1400 with him. This is his attempt of trying to stonewall me into spending the another $1400 with him. In order or me to receive my parts I ALREADY PAID FOR. He calls himself a man, but I see a boy masquerading as one. A MAN takes accountability for their actions, has integrity and handles business/does not make excuses. No one played games on his phone. I simply voiced my disdain for his poor service and requested a refund since he was delaying the delivery of my packages. He got in his feelings about it and blocked me. If i spent $2k with an actual mechanic shop, every part I ordered would have been in 2-3 weeks after payment.I'm an entrepreneur myself, I suffered from early stages of glaucoma last year and i needed steroid drops to regenerate my eyes back to good health. I say all of that to say, that didnt stop me from providing the services my customers paid for. I just dont understand why its so hard for this person to do good business. I asked for the tracking numbers and he did not respond. Then i finally responded with an ultimatum after I noticed he was contentiously giving me the run around with delivery of my parts. I have escalated this matter to the ******** court system and will be paid $60 to have the sheriff's of ************* ** to serve my subpoena to this businesses owner's residence. I tried to do things the easy way and not include the law into this situation..but I see he likes to make things difficult. I just can imagine the look on the judges face when they listen to your reasoning for not providing any of my parts I paid for in 2 months lol.

      Regards,

BBB can be your witness & mine. Catch me with my pants down? Is that a threat? Not once did I physically threaten you. Sounds like youre threatening bodily harm. Is that the way you want to play ****** Lol judging by that restraining order and 2nd degree assault charge Ill have to refer this to the judge as well.  I dont take kindly to physical threats. When it comes to paying you an extra $1400. I wont . For the sole fact that you havent showed me or provided the bulk of anything that I purchased. Im exhausting all measures legally because Im too far off in my life to crash out for someone who lives in low end apartments. Thats hustling backwards. Rather just let the law handle you and cripple your ability to steal and commit fraud against anybody else. I came into this endeavor with honest intentions. I Thought you were a man of your word and a man of integrity. I see my assumptions were wrong. If you threaten me physically again and choose to act on those threats Ill let you know, I am licensed to carry. Any attempt to cause physical harm to me & my life will be met with your demise. You have kids. Be a smart man and stay alive for them. With that being said, I already ordered everything else I needed. The only hold up is you. 2 months and counting. Still have yet to receive all of the parts that I have paid for. You are honestly making this an open and shut case especially with that threat you just made. You cant call yourself a man if you cant keep your composure. You signed up for this, you chose to run a business. This is what comes with running a business. Dealing with unsatisfied customers & resolving issues the right way. One common reoccurring theme I see with you and your negative reviews is that you cant take criticism when someone calls you out for your shenanigans. You get emotional. Just remember. Its always business. Never personal sweetheart. Make sure you wear a nice suit.

      Regards,
