    I would give this business 0 stars. You can not return items and the quality is very poor! Dont believe the pics or the reviews. I have contacted customer service by phone, email, and on ****, but have gotten no response. Finding a bad review of this company is extremely difficult which is suspicious imo. The only ones I have found were followed up stating that somehow the customer was bitter or like the one here that seems to blame the customer. I feel like I have been scammed. The company claims to be high quality and individually made. Buyer beware! Stay away from Berry Jane!

    I went on this website to purchase a rash guard, and I got a pop up saying that I could get a 15% off welcome offer. So I clicked on that and purchased my rash guard. When I got it, it didn't fit right so I was going to return it. But they rejected my return because any item with a 15% or greater discount can't be returned. Then they clarified that I could return it for store credit, but I would have to pay for return shipping and also pay a restocking fee. After all that it doesn't seem worth it to return, and it was expensive! I feel tricked by the 15% discount which made me ineligible for a refund. The whole experience is so far from the norms of customer service these days. I'm also seeing that the company keeps shutting down comments on ******** because people keep commenting on how bad the customer service is.

We have reviewed your order from Sept 27, 2023 which was more than 7 months ago, and checked our emails from that time frame and do not see any emails from you or where you contacted us to make your return or exchange. Our returns portal is an automated system set up for easy returns for everyone, and if an item is on sale or marked down 15% or more, or if the order is past the 14-day window, the system automatically rejects the return. It does not know whether it was a sale, a pop-up promo or a code, this is why we prefer customers to email us directly if there is a problem. We prefer to make sure everyone has a good experience with us. Had you contacted us via email, I would have been happy to offer an exchange or refund. At that time, we were providing refunds instead of store credit (we've just recently begun this policy in Jan 2024 due to the overwhelming bracketing and returns abuse, and because we are a small, family-owned, sustainable company that makes almost every item when the customer orders it). I am sorry you "feel tricked." Rest assured that while our policies are not always liked by everyone, and we are especially not like every other big box e-tailer out there, we do our best to provide the best customer service possible.
