Summit was contacted to help rodent proof my residence. Summit did not meet contractual agreements of the work or the date of work. "Remove One abandoned vent, Repair dryer vent with lint access cover, Seal the area around these vents, tight, install one fresh air vent" for $620.00. No vent was removed, no fresh air vent was installed, the dryer vent was not repaired, the cover had gaps large enough for rodents to enter. A confirmation date for service was sent on the 24th, for the morning of Friday July 26, was confirmed but stated "Friday, July 26th 2024 to complete repairs." with amplifying text "afternoon between 8 am and 10am", this is contradictory in itself, afternoon with morning times". Service personnel arrived on Thursday the 25th, putting in two 8x8 screen mesh and a dryer cover over the existing cover when no on was home. After work was done on the 25th, there was no contact from Summit explaining the date change or change in work.Brief summary:-Contractual agreement of the overall work expectation was not met.-Pre-established agreed upon designated time of work was not honored.-Emplyee arrived when nobody home.-Work was low quality.-Inflated fees.-Duration of work was likely less than an hour. -Materials used were approximately ***** dolllars in value, one dryer cover with gaps mice and snakes can breach (counter the purpose of a cover), two 8X8 screen mesh, silicon sealant, and ***** screws. Photos were provided to Summit on July 26th showing the July 25th work.-Damage to the brick above and to the side of the dryer cover, requires repair.A representative from Summit agreed to a reimbursement amount of $500 by August 7th. On August 13th, Summit countered with $125. That amount will not cover my financial loss of missing work, repairs, or damage to my residence. Because of the repeated failure of Summit to honor terms and agreements, there is no trust or confidence in their ability to return to this residence or honor any term of a contract.
