    Date: 15Jul2023 (Sat)Amount: 26.99/mo for two children ($53.98 total)The contract stated I had to cancel via website "at least 3 business days before the next auto renewal". I followed the contract to the letter and cancelled on 11Aug2023 (4+ days prior), but they charged me for August. When I contacted them, they claimed that they could not provide a refund "per the signed contract", but when I pointed out that I did follow the contract and stated clearly that my contract started on a Saturday with a 7 days / week business and that nowhere in the contract did it state that the membership was with a different entity (defy trampoline park) than the jump park (sky zone) or that "business day" meant something different than what it means for the jump park (which again is a 7 day business) they continued to stall and quote the standard response, ignoring the fact that I followed the contract. Again I want to point out that my contract started on a Saturday (so Saturday obviously is a business day or my membership would not have started until Monday, but I took the kids and they jumped on that Saturday with the new membership), any thinking person would expect and read the contract of "business day" to be the same as the definition of a business day with the business I was buying the membership with (SkyZone, which is 7 days a week) To date, they have refused to provide a refund.I also filed for a fraudulent charge with the credit card, which is still pending resolution.

    Re: Lock-in at Defy. The day prior, our youth pastor called to confirm our booking. Much to our surprise, the employee on the phone had no idea what we were talking about. Whats alarming about this is that we paid a $900 deposit to book this event. When we asked to speak to the *** we were told we cannot give you their name or contact information. I understand the need for safety, but this was nothing but a display of cowardice from a supposed leader. Over the course of this issue, we never heard from the *** After several hours of waiting, an employee got back to us stating that she could make it work. When we arrived, there seemed to be many employees (maybe 6-8? It was hard to tell who actually worked there). However, only 1 actively worked all night. He was amazing. He deserves a raise for being the only employee that worked from 10pm-7am. While I didnt expect them to interact with our kids all night(we had plenty of chaperones), I was surprised to see that of the activities that needed supervision, these additional employees chose to stay away from these responsibilities and play amongst themselves. At no time throughout the entire 9 hours were the activities running at the same time because only 1 employee worked them, while the others sat around. 1st red flag-laziness and aloofness towards our kids. The third issue I have with this company is in the middle of the night, I noticed EMPLOYEES WERE DRINKING ON THE **** I am concerned for a number of reasons. You are supposed to be supervising minors in a trampoline park-how could you possibly do that while inebriated? All night these employees (except for the 1), either ignored us or were drinking while getting paid to do so. In a job that requires so many safety mechanisms, the idea of employees drinking on the job makes me ill when I think about my students in their presence. Where is the accountability? Is this the standard you hold your employees to?
