  • On February 23, 2021, BB&T Equipment Finance LLC entered into a Consent Order with the California Commissioner of Financial Protection and Innovation to desist and refrain from lending in California until or unless properly licensed under the CFL and to pay an administrative penalty of $75,000.00 for engaging in the business of a finance lender in California without first obtaining a finance lender license.
