    If I could give 0, I would. Amazing Comfort was tasked to repair a refrigerant leak on my suction line outside. They repaired it and recharged it. Running it for the first time since repair a couple weeks later (wasn't hot enough out yet), I find the compressor unable to stay on. I figured it was the age of my unit, so I reached out to other companies for estimates on a new condenser unit, and the first company put gauges on my system and found Amazing Comfort charged my unit TWICE what is rated for my unit and caused my compressor to fail. Reaching out to the supervisor of Amazing Comfort, he stated they install the system factory amount of refrigerant and don't go off pressures when they charge systems. They don't install pressure gauges. This is incredibly unacceptable. They are going to damage so many people's compressors/coils and claim it was their system and not their shotty workmanship. Their supervisor, instead of sending someone out to look at the unit to see what they caused, told me I should reach out to ******** **** ****** and put in another claim, which if there were any non-coverages, I would be responsible for them even though they're the reason my system is shot now. I don't expect compensation, but other people need to know how poorly this company is doing business.

    I was assigned this company thru ******** **** ****** to do work on the out side air.conditioning unit. They assessed the unit and advised it would need a compressor and coolant. I would have pay for the coolant. This was the first of June. I did not hear from them until the first of July Amazing Comfort blamed AHS for the delay. I was out of town and the earliest the repair was to be done was July 22. The repair was done, but the technician did not properly secure the fan unit to the screen. About 3 weeks later the fan had beaten itself against the inside of the unit and quit working. Amazing Comfort sent a tech out, but his assessment was that was not normal wear and tear .They took no blame in the repair not being done correctly. After contacting ******** **** *******I had to get a second opinion. That company reported improper repair. Amazing Comfort returned and replaced to broken fan blade and secured the fan properly. The tech said it may only work for a short time due to damage caused to the unit. The A/C stopped about 2 hours later. I have had numerous phone calls with the company with no success. I have asked to speak with the owner. I have been told he was out of town or not in the office. I have never gotten a call back.There have also been several heated calls with the office manager who defended them and admitted no wrong. I am still working to get a solution. DO NOT USE THUS COMPANY FOR ANY REPAIR. They do not back up their work.

    I’ve read all of the reviews, good and bad. I also noticed the “lack of accreditation” and “F” grade BBB gave Amazing Comfort. As for me, because of my experience with Louis, the technician, I will give him an “A+”rating! He showed up on time, put on his shoe coverings and professionally and thoroughly inspected the first of two Heating/AC units, while I watched. Then, he went outside and crawled into a dirty crawl space to check the second Heating/AC unit. Upon completion, he gave me a verbal report that the system was okay and that the smoke I smelled was the result of my turning on the Heating System for the first time this season and caused the smoke detector to turn on. Simply put, dust had gotten onto the heating coils and simply burnt off. He then assured me that it was the right thing to do and have it checked. I would certainly recommend this company again and request Technician Louis specifically. I certainly believe the BBB should change their rating for Amazing Comfort. Frank C., Williamsburg

    I have had a terrible experience with this HVAC company. It took them a whopping 5 days to even show up to service my AC. To make things worse they assured me they would promptly submit the authorization for approval to my warranty company within 48 hours. After 48 hours, there was still no sign of them submitting anything. Their lack of urgency and professionalism is appalling.

    I used this company through my home warranty company. The technician did not fix the problem. They did not provide a report as to what the problem was and the fix. I reached out to them again and the response is that they would not be able to come out again until until ten days later. I currently have a 70 year old individual with ***** * *****r living there and have no way getting their technician out there to fix the unit. I had a different contractor come out, replaced the capacitor and the system is running to factory specifications. This contractor is too lazy to troubleshoot. HOS response below demonstrates his lack of knowledge of AC systems. Due to this review, Amazing Comfort has now threated me and the tenant of the house. Please do not use this contractor if you need to feel safe when they come to the house.

    Amazing Comfort was highly recommended by a trusted friend who has worked on their HVAC in the past. Their service lives up to the recommendation better than I had hoped. Awesome experience from the very first phone call! After calling several businesses who were not available to help us in our emergency situation, my 4th call to Amazing Comfort was a blessing! They were professional and responsive to our situation right away! Amazing Comfort not only does excellent work, but the Tech took the time to help us understand his reasoning & process behind repairs. Solid, trustworthy, & professional!

    This outfit is unprofessional and unethical, if not actually dishonest. When my heat pump stopped working (3 months after annual check-up & servicing), Amazing Comfort diagnosed a failed compressor. Even though homeowner's insurance covers the cost of labor and compressor, they wanted to charge me addition ********** which included ****** for *** refrigerant @ ******** After I challenged their price-gouging **** is available open market for ******** they changed the required refrigerant to ***** @ ******** Note: ***** is available open market for ******* clearly an example of industry price-gouging.

    Also, the company representative offered to replace the entire unit for "only a few hundred dollars more". They could not provide an answer as to why they didn't submit replacement as most economical solution to the homeowner's insurance company. However, for installation of new units, the company couldn't charge for the refrigerant (losing thousands of dollars).

    After failure to gain satisfaction, I had my homeowner's insurance company send a 2nd company for service call to verify the diagnosis by Amazing Comfort.
    The 2nd technician identified that:
    - the fuses to the heat pump unit were missing
    - the starting capacitor for the compressor was missing
    - the refrigerant was 2lbslow
    b. After installing new fuses and capacitor, the heat pump unit functioned perfectly.
    c. Although the earlier annual check-up confirmed the refrigerant was not low prior to Amazing Comfort's troubleshooting, it had to be recharged at an additional cost of *****

    Avoid this company like the plague!

    There is not enough characters to express my displeasure with Amazing Comfort. My reviews on ****** and **** says it all. My wife was blackmailed by them on yesterday when asked by them to take a negative review down off of ****** in order to get the service that we are paying for through our Home Warranty Service expedited otherwise we would be placed behind 100 other customers.     I am not surprised about their low rating with the BBB. I wouldn't even give them one star but there's not an option to give -10 stars. This company was chosen by my home warranty company. Two technicians came out and nothing was solved. The first tech came for all of 5 minutes, went in the back to look at my HVAC, talked on his cell phone, then came in and said my Freon was low... but he didn't have any with him. Ok, you are an HVAC company, right? Then I had to make another appointment for another one of their technicians to come out. The next one came out and he went in the back and in the attic. He wasn't here for a long time at all. He tells me what he thinks and that I have to make another appointment for them to come out and, oh yeah, he doesn't have any Freon either. I called my home warranty company and told them I was not going to make yet another appointment with them and I didn't want them back and my house. It was a waste of time. I called another company on my own and the problem was diagnosed properly and the technician was knowledgeable and competent. There's nothing amazing about this company and it brought me no comfort at all. They are very overpriced as well. I have to say I believe some of this craziness is due to the home warranty company that I have. I will be dumping them when my policy expires as well.
