My complaint is not with the provider but by the billing staff. I received a estimate of care at start of services & paid them each time I saw them(total of 3 sessions receipt attached) . 30days after my last session I got a bill for *** it took 3 phone calls to get clarity. I paid immediately. 30days after that I got another bill for **** (12/27 I called twice & no reply. I reached out to my insurance for help (1/13) after receiving bill. My insurance started reaching out to genesis is clarity on bill (the date of service & amount were not quoted to me & I did not see them on date in question). On 1/17 I got a FINAL NOTICE for the amount only 20 days since the first notice I owed money. I reached out by phone to genesis noting my insurance is reaching out. 1/26 Ramona from genesis called acknowledging working w insurance. On 3/1 insurance rep noted billing was not correct & they cannot charge me more than the contracted & Insurance and I owed a portion but not all of this ***** no communication from genesis since Ramona's call or additional bills received. I emailed genesis for a corrected bill on 3/4 and did not receive one by 3/15. On 3/15 I paid the amount of ***** via check. On 3/18 I received notice my debt was sent to collections. I called genesis today and had to leave a voicemail. I have am writing to confirm the company unresponsive. I have made multiple attempts & every effort to pay & when getting clarity & their team actively working w my insurance they have sent my incorrect debt to collections. Attached you will find the bill notice and confirmation of my payments at each attempt to them. I did not see them for the date of service they sent & it is within my right to inquire w my insurance & my insurance was actively communicating w them. They also charged more than contracted amount which is against practice. My receipt for each payment is attached & bill they sent w dates to supplement my complaint against services.
