I flew one way from Atlanta, GA to purchase this vehicle on 4/16/2022. I stressed to the sales person even before making travel arrangements that I would be seeking expedited title/registration due to the fact that I am an out-of-state buyer and I didn't want any issues with my local *** regarding registering the vehicle. ******* ******* (sales person) assured me there would be no problem and that they had a dedicated title clerk for these matters. Due to my temp tags coming up for expiration soon, I contacted ******* via email on 5/15/2022 inquiring about the status of the title/registration work and was told the title work had already begun. Contacted the sales person again 5/21/2022 advising that my temp tags had expired and I was legally prevented from driving the vehicle and requested additional temp tags to be overnighted to me asap. He responded 3 days later with the tracking number. I contacted the ** and was given an excuse that they always do business like this because they don't pay cash for their cars (still doesn't justify breaking the law). After receiving the 2nd set of temp tags, I contacted the dealer again requesting details as to how this happened and why was I not informed that they didn't have a title to the vehicle to begin with, prior to selling me the vehicle. I have yet to receive an answer to this question. FYI, I financed this vehicle via Bank of ******* (lienholder).
