Tony Miller filed my ex husband and I's 2021 taxes. We received a letter of deficiency from the IRS stating there was missing information on the taxes. I have correspondence proving I sent him the missing documentation that he failed to include on our taxes. Upon reaching out to Tony to resolve the problem and amend the amount, he became rude and even cussed me out via email then refused to help me.

This client sent handwritten paperwork via text message also some by facebook messenger and some by email. Very confusing but we managed to get the taxes filed. The IRS is showing 1099 income for both the husband and the wife and is asking them to pay the taxes owed on that amount. Pretty simple really. I tried to explain that to her but she insisted that I messed up the taxes and wants me to fix it. All she need to do is pay the payes owed. Simple. When she bombareded me with emails and facebook messages calling me unprofessional then I realized that I could not help this woman and Told her I do no need this ******** and to go somewhere else. She seemed to only be wanting to make demands of me and call me names so yes absolelutely I am doen with her.Regards,Tony Miller

I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Tony Miller's response is extremely vague and one sided. The IRS requires an Amended Tax Return, the amendment he sent me removed one income and added another rather than adding the missing income that was never originally included on the taxes. The initial documentation was requested via email and messenger, I never was asked to meet with him in person when the taxes were prepared which is also strange. When I addressed him about the amendment being incorrect and asked for it to be corrected he became very confused and responded with inappropriate language and refusing further assistance. Rather than correcting the mistake he made, he would rather dismiss someone and let them have to figure it out on their own. The statements on unprofessionalism was very valid on my end as one should own up to their mistakes and try to correct them rather than use inappropriate language and dismiss someone to save themselves the time and effort.  Regards, ****** ******
