In February of 2024 ***** ****** showed me a house and subsequently was my realtor and assisted in making offers and entering a buyers contract with a closing set on March 14 2024. A title issue arose the week before closing , ***** knew that I had taken an entire week off work to close and move and failed to inform me of said title issue until 3 DAYS BEFORE CLOSING! Thus costing me a week of vacation as well as countless other expenses. Me and the seller could not come to terms on how to settle the title issue ( they want to try a letter of indemnity/ quit claim deed that does not solve the problem in the long term). ***** as well as Kemper Funkhouser have failed to assist me in terminating the original contract and ignore my questions when asking for explanations of their legal jargon. They almost cost me my apartment which would have left me homeless as they would not assist me in a timely manner before my lease needed to be resigned. They refuse to give me my $1,000 earnest money deposit back and will not help me put an end to this nonsense of a situation that they have put me in for the last two months . Find a realty company that cares , Kemper Funkhouser repeatedly defends his employee that failed to do their job as well as disregards my problem. All these people want is the commission from the sale and will screw the clients life up if necessary to get that money!
