      I went to Liberty Tax on 4/3/24,I spoke with **** who looked at my taxes and immediately said I would get very little if anything back, I said to her I'm not working , so I can't pay anything now if I due owe, how much will you charge she said $175.00 upfront, she also told me I could get an extension to pay the taxes which is False , the extension is only to file later NOT for money's owed, She knowingly gave me a false statement and now I'm going to be charged "interest " until I pay it off . I would like my refund back for falsely telling me that.

      This doesn’t even make sense. Filing an extension with the IRS does NOT stop them from charging penalties and interest. The tax preparer is well informed of that and would’ve told the customer that.We WILL NOT give a refund. This client owing the IRS is no fault of ours, and it’s not our fault the client doesn’t have the financial means to pay the IRS his balance due to them.I see nothing wrong with what my employee did. This if anything seems to be a misunderstanding from the customers end.
