1 starI came here to Nissan that morning / mind you I already told them I just left a mechanic who had put my car on a diagnostic machine and the code came back as u 1000. I let them know that I googled it and it said that its like a miss wiring perhaps the person who did tune up did something wrong. It was told to me that I had a lot of lights on and that they could not go off of what someone else did on the car. I let them know. I wasnt worried about any of the rest of life. That was the one because I just had my brakes done. Ijust wanted to know about the code that I came here for and if the spark plugs that I had got fixed were correct. They basically charged me $200 to put my card on a diagnostic machine twice is what I get out of it and still did not help me the problem on hand. I originally bought my car therefore on my receipt, it says everything about the brake and the brake line I didnt careor ask or bring my car up there for anything that had to do with my brakes when I called up there to speak with a supervisor over and over, it was like pulling teeth I could not get in touch with the next day when I had spoke with him prior he basically made me feel crazy because its like Miss *********. We did this and everything that wehad to check your car for we charge you for and I was like well I didnt ask for my car to be checked for brakes anything else. The reason that I bought the car once again for to be checked on, it was not looked into so yes Im very upset and very displeased with the service that I got I basically wasted $400 and I would like a refund .Review fromJessica S

I contacted Nissan of Richmond today to get assistance, or to be pointed in the right direction on who I needed to speak with regarding a recent accident. Nobody, and I mean nobody wanted to help. They just kept putting me on hold, I was transferred about 6/7 and gi even attitude in between those transfers. Also not to mention being hung up on. Every single person I spoke to was rude from the store to customer service. Then I was speaking to a man and I asked to speak with a sales manager he sarcastically told me he was the manager. I advised the lady that I spoke with before him was being rude and I asked for name and she told me she wasnt allowed to give out her name. Then I asked for her employee Id number, she said we cant give out personal information Im getting a manger. The manager **** was very rude, and unprofessional nor was he willing to help at all. Something definitely needs to be done about this. It all made since when I heard how the manager was talking, that the representative would have that same tone. Because of her supervisor. When I purchased my vehicle in 2020 it was good service. I would NEVER do business with Nissan of Richmond again. And would advise my friends, and family to stay clear as well. Horrible that this is the way a manger acted.Nissan of Richmond

1 starNissan of Richmond, specifically the 2020 Nissan Kicks, which I bought on 8/2/24. Unfortunately, my experience with this vehicle has not met my expectations, and I feel compelled to share my concerns.Since I took ownership of the car, it has been in the shop multiple times for various issues. Upon purchase I was provided a document that said that it had passed all inspections. The frontlight and ac wasn't working upon purchase. I received a system malfunction and that has been a repetitive warning sign that I've received from time of purchase till today 11/19/24. Every month since the time of purchase my car has been in the shop that has taken time out of my work day and my school day to address issues pertaining to this vehicle. I reached out the week of purchase to find out if I could return the vehicle and was told I would need a lawyer. Now I have an issue with the engine. I was drawn to Nissan of Richmond because of your reputation for quality vehicles and customer service, which makes this situation even more disappointing. I had anticipated enjoying a dependable vehicle, but instead, I was frustrated and worried about the next unexpected repair. At this Time I've discovered that this organization is not to be trusted.Review fromLily R

My appointment for a car inspection was for the next day.The employees were friendly and courteous, lounge area comfortable and well maintained. I was pleasantly surprised when a complimentary car wash was offered at no additional costs. I am fairly new to the area and would recommend this location for car inspections!! So accessible and convenient for me.Nissan of Richmond

I called to inquire about a car they have listed on CarGuru for $45,495. After several rude interactions, I finally got the manager to provide an "out the door price" of $51,958--$6463 of hidden fees (I am out of state, this ridiculous dollar amount does not include taxes and registration). I posted a ****** review dated 6/25/2024 with the source documents attached for verification. There are numerous complaints of this repetitive behavior. I strongly encourage the BBB to investigate. I obtained out the door prices at 3 other dealerships. Excluding taxes, these prices ranged from $650 to $1100.Nissan of Richmond

My worst experience ever! As a newcomer to the **, my first visit to Nissan of Richmond was a disaster. The sales **** ********************************** pressured me into giving my SSN, promising no credit impact. He then rushed me through a loan approval process without disclosing car details and pricing. He also force me to give 5 star review with good comments via QR code on his table before I sign, test drive and move further. He also keep requesting me to show email confirmation received after review submited.I clearly request for cheapest car to own due to my commitment. They even manipulated me into high interest rate financing for a higher car price than advertised which I realised it later. In their website, it was mentioned lesser than $30000 but they financing me for $37+++ eventhough I pay cash deposit for this car. When I sought clarification the following day, finance managers, ************************** were rude and unhelpful, not even respecting me as a customer. They refused to address pricing discrepancies and acussing each other(sales and finance). The Finance Manager initially asserted himself as the Nissan Richmond Centre head, but upon checking the website later, it showed someone else's name, and he didnt let me escalate the issue to his superior. I felt completely cheated and mistreated, and I urge others, especially newcomers, to steer clear of this dealership.Nissan of Richmond

1 starDealer didnt honor advertised price online. After challenged on price the refused to sell me and my wife the vehicle, discriminating against us because we point this out. Sales Manager/General Manager refused to allow us to file complaint by intercepting call that was made to speak with the General Manager.Review fromThomas M

1 starI went to the dealership to buy a ************************ Nissan.. I have been a fan of Nissan since 2007 I owned a 2016, 2019, and a 2021 Nissan Murano platinum. The 2021 was an SL. I spoke with Salesman ******* and told him I needed a price with my trade in. I was directed to a back office with two workers, the one to the right told me I couldn't buy a new one unless I drove it first. I told him I wanted to buy it, and I am familiar with the car and don't need a test drive. He had a hairpiece, swarthy looking, and extremely rude. I think he should be fired. He cost this dealership a sale, ******* who was very nice lost commission, and I will never buy another Nissan. He actually said, "Have someone throw this guy out of my office". If I owned this dealership this man would be fired and ushered out the door. **************** is job number one! He refused to give me his name, lets just refer to him as "Mr *********** I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager, hard to believe. What kind of employee would turn down a paying customer and harass him? Sometimes life gets stranger by the day??Review fromAnthony C

1 starSales Harassment! I had my car in for an oil change and some other minor work. Shortly after dropping off the car, my wife's phone number was passed off to the sales team who called 9 times within 3 hours. My wife is a teacher who was in the middle of class, her phone would not stop ringing. She answered a few since they called from different numbers and was concerned there was something wrong with one of our children. I called the dealership and spoke to ***** who said he is the customer service manager, he was rude and wanted to brush under the rug. He wanted to remove our number from the list, rather than fix the problem for others. The dealership will continue to do this. I asked for the dealership manager and ***** told me he was conveniently out of the country. He would not let me speak to anyone else but him. If ***** is really the customer service manager, this team needs to be replaced. Whomever is training this practice needs to be held accountable,Review fromBafour A

1 starDeceptive advertising. Salespersons are crooks. Beware if you are minority and desperate to buy.BMW 740i listed for 40K with ****** miles. *** to the dealership with the assurance from salesperson to lower the sticker price even more over the phone, when we got to the dealership the sticker price was now 50K. When we asked why, they gave us all kinds of reasons which goes to show their intent was to defraud and not to do business in good faith. So beware of this dealership when looking to buy a vehicle.
