    I ordered a transcript never went through and its taking me a month to get a hold of someone. They make up excuses but are refusing to send my transcript I paid for and refusing to refund my money.

    Customer satisfaction is very important to National Student Clearinghouse, and we apologize that the customer's experience was not as expected. Upon review of their order, we determined the order was successfully fulfilled utilizing the information provided by the customer, unfortunately the customer provided the incorrect recipient email. Our records show the customer contacted us on January 15, 2025 requesting the order be resent with the correct receipient email. It was explained to the customer that that the Welcome Page, created by the school with specific ordering instructions, stated "Once an order has been placed, you will not be allowed to change the recipient's email address. You must place an order with the correct address. Refunds will not be considered. Please review your order for accuracy". The customer was advised that a new order would need to be placed to send the transcript to a different address. If we can assist the customer in any other way, they may contact us at ************ or visit the Student help pages on our website (****************************************************).

    I ordered a transcript on 11/9. It was not mailed until 11/13. The National Student Clearinghouse claims that **** 1st Class mail requires 5-10 business days even though the **** site says 1-5. It is now 12/2 and still no transcript. They made me wait until 15 calendar days elapsed before they would take action. They provided no tracking number. They will not escalate my re-send to a higher priority to guarantee that I receive it in a timely fashion in spite of the fact that they have already made me wait so long that I cannot meet the deadline by waiting another three weeks. Between the time that I placed that order and a couple of weeks later, I ordered three transcripts from other universities through Parchment. The orders were spaced out over 10 days and I received every one of them within a week of placing the order. The cost of each of those transcripts was significantly less than what *** charged for--so far--nothing.Lastly, the customer service might as well be non-existent. I'd leave a zero-star review were it permissible. I beseech the universities throughout the country whose registrars may be reading this: please shift your business to Parchment. These people are inept and uncaring and you should not be doing business with them.

    We apologize that the customer's transcript order was not received. To provide additional background, the delivery method selected during the ordering process, 1st class US Mail, does not utilize tracking through ****, however the sending institution offers certified mail and express delivery options which include tracking. The total cost of the transcript is determined by the selected delivery method and the quantity of transcripts ordered. Both the available delivery options and the fees are set by the sending institution (school). We acknowledge that a review our delivery timeframes is warranted and have requested our product team to do so. We are following up directly with the customer to ensure their satisfaction and delivery of their transcript order.

    F*** this company they hide or dont mention essential steps for your transcripts to be sent from one school to another. A bunch of POS scammers whos customer service also refuses to help. do not use them if you have any other option

Upon review of their orders, we determined the orders were successfully fulfilled utilizing the information provided by the customer, unfortunately the customer provided the incorrect recipient email address on two orders. As as a courtesy we contacted the sending school on the customer's behalf and secured their approval of a refund for one order. Another order was successfully sent to a receiving school in which that school has not yet downloaded the transcript. We contacted the receiving school to remind them of available transcripts to download. If we can assist the customer in any other way, they may contact us at ************ or visit the student help pages on our website (****************************************************).

    No where during the order process was it mentioned that schools do not accept transcripts from students. That transcripts are only accepted if they come directly from the clearinghouse. When I indicated that I was ordering the transcripts for admissions purposes, this should have been made clear. I wasted money ordering my own records. This business is a scam!

    Customer satisfaction is very important to National Student Clearinghouse, and we apologize that your experience was not what you expected. The Clearinghouse maintains the ordering platform for students from many participating colleges and universities to order their transcripts however, each school is the repository for the academic records and, therefore, is the entity that processes and fulfills the transcript order. Your school provides instructions and important details pertaining to the delivery methods and their process on the welcome page before you begin your order. Neither your school or the National Student Clearinghouse are able to determine what any recipient may or may not accept, therefore, it is the responsibility of the transcript requestor to have that information prior to ordering. The total cost of a transcript includes the fee the school charges for the transcript, the delivery method, and a small processing fee for each recipient. Therefore, refunds must be approved by the sending school as we communicated to you. We will be happy to process a refund at your schools direction.

    I spent 3.90 to get a transcript and waited they sent it - review transcript a message popped up that you cannot open the transcript on a phone nor a tablet. This message is not displayed on any page you fill out during the ordering process. I had to call multiple times- to get a refund. I would never recommend using this app.

    One entire month and I still have not gotten my transcript. Causing me to have to retake classes I already took. Cost me money and time.

    They are in charge of safekeeping of critical records, and yet their "order tracking" maintains no record of when the transcript was retrieved by the target school? Shouldn't they be recording login information, date/time, IP address of who accessed my private data? I guess not, silly me. Of course, the school says they never got it. What's the remedy? Spend another $15.65 to do the exact same thing I did a month ago and expect a better result this time. I'd have better luck giving some stranger on the street a letter and $15 and asking him to make sure it got mailed for me. Really, maybe I'll try that next because it's more likely to work. Do these universities know what sloppy recordkeeping they're allowing by these companies to whom they're outsourcing? I guess they don't care, not their liability. What a ripoff.
