I had to cancel my reservation because of things I can't control. It was within 7 days which according to the website it would cost one nights stay for cancelling. I was fine with that. The reservation was for June 7th thru the 10th 2022. I called twice and they refused stating the policy had changed. The website says different but they said they don't go by the website because it is wrong. I asked how I could contact corporate and they gave me some email address but refused to give the phone number of corporate so I could actually speak to a person. I still haven't gotten a refund.

I have purchased seasonal pool passes in the past. The hours for the pool were the same as the hours for the campers. When we purchased our seasonal pool passes this year we were not advised that this had changed. On 06.01.22, we came to the pool, just at 5pm, with our son. Upon arriving we were asked to show our season passes. No indication was made to us at the time that the hours were changed. We changed our very excited toddler into a swim diaper & trunks. Not until we were about to get into the pool were we approached and told that we would need to leave as the hours for day passes had passed (at 5pm). We explained that in years past the hours were the same as campers. The pool monitor referred us to the Assistant Manager. The assistant manager told us that we had “gotten away” with staying later in the past, but that corporate was cracking down. To be clear, we had never and are not currently trying to “get away” with anything. We were told in years past that the hours were the same as camper hours, otherwise we would have never purchased passes. We did not show up trying to pull one over on anyone and certainly wouldn’t have brought our toddler for such disappointment has we known the hours had changed. For this year, had we been advised that the hours would end at 5pm on weekdays, we have never opted to purchase passes. My husband and I both work full time jobs and the passes would be a waste. Since the rules have changed - and since we were not advised of this change - we need a refund. I went in person today (06.03.22) to speak with the owner. The owner again blamed me. After not reaching a resolution he confirmed I could go to the pool area. I went to the pool area. He followed and told me to go get a bracelet. On my way, he advised an employee to call law enforcement. I had not been asked to leave. The owner admitted to the deputy that I did nothing wrong. I no longer feel safe at Lake RIdge having law enforcement weaponized against me.
