    On Thanksgiving Day, Nov 24, 2022,I received a $177.17 email bill from Camden Lansdowne stating that I never set up a gas account at my apartment and they were charging me for 11/2 - 12/ 31 for gas. I have lived at Camden Lansdowne since April 2020, set up an account when I moved in and have paid ************** by auto pay out of my checking account since April 2020. It is not a Camden account. I gave Camden my ************** account number, as required, when I moved in.On Saturday, November 26, 2022, I went to the Camden management office and spoke to the manager there. I explained my problem and she told me to email my ************** bill to her at the Camden Lansdowne Living email address. I emailed the message with the $25 gas bill (including account number and autopay date of November 28) while I was sitting across the manager at her desk. She confirmed receipt and said shed call the gas company to confirm. I left thinking the problem was resolved. On Monday, November 28, I decided to call ************** customer service and confirm that my account and auto payments were alright. The Customer service agent confirmed that all was well and the bill had been paid from my account. I then sent Camden Lansdowne an email message, attached to the earlier email, giving them the updated information and requesting that they contact ************** and contact me that day. I have never been contacted by Camden and called their central customer service line twice, speaking to two different agents. Again, no response from Camden. Please let me know what I can do before they add penalty charges to this erroneous bill and ruin my credit rating. I will bring legal action if necessary. I do not feel comfortable attaching my gas bill with account number. Camden has that information already.
