On June 9, 2023 I reserved a rental for a travel nursing assignment from B&B Corporate Rentals. On June 15th I decided to cancel this reservation. Come to find out they actually don't have a relationship with the apartment complex I was going to rent from, they actually rent 3rd party. The complex had no idea who they were. After a long back and forth a refund was issued on July 19th. They stated if they could not rent the unit a refund would be issued 30 days after deposit, They requested to send the refund in 2 separate checks, to which I said no. They attempted to drag out the refund process. After finally receiving the check and depositing it within 30 days of receiving it (it was mailed to my home address, I am on assignment in **, so getting it to me to sign and back to ******* was a process) the check bounced, ****************** claimed it was because the check was outstanding for too long, although it did not have any expiration date on the check. When I called him he asked to wire funds to my account, I declined since I was not giving him my banking information. He claims a cashiers check will be overnighted payable to my husband. I believe their business practices are unethical and a little suspect. I just want others to be aware of financial transactions with this company.Business Response

Hello and thank you for your communication regarding your concerns with our company. We value customer feedback as a way to continuously improve our services to all those in need of temporary housing. One of the ways that we try and accommodate our clients when we're over booked is to offer them an alternative property that is not in our inventory and is provided by our partners. It is not uncommon for this kind practice to take place in this industry. Your refund was issued and we can confirm it was received by you and this matter is now closed. Our apologies that you were disappointed to not have it been received at the time of your request. Again, thank you for your feedback.Initial Complaint

We rented an apartment from B&B Corporate Rentals. We signed a lease and paid our agreed upon rent to B&B Corporate Rentals. Our lease began on 6/19/2023. About three weeks after we moved in, we were contacted by ******* Corporate Housing and their Legal Counsel. They said they were the primary company renting the apartment and had sub-leased to B&B Corporate Rentals. They told us B&B was a fraudulent company and they had not paid their bills in 90+ days. As such, they were going to evict us from the apartment even though we have paid our rent and had a signed lease. B&B Corporate Rentals has still not paid the money they legally owe, which is now putting us at risk of eviction and civil litigation from Landing Corporate Housing.Business Response

B&B signed a contract to rent a home I own, and placed a family there. That family caused significant damage and delays in getting the house in a condition to be re-rented. B&B was presented with documentation detailing the costs. B&B refuses to pay their bill of $2282.89. I am the sole custodial parent of a disabled adult, and this outstanding bill is causing me financial hardship in caring for my son's needs. It doesn't seem right that B&B has an A+ rating when they don't pay their bills.Business Response

This is in response to ************************************* complaint. Yes, we rented your property on behalf of our client for almost a year paying you well over your asking price for the rent and never was late or missed a payment. I find it disingenuous of you to make such an accusation of this magnitude about not paying you the balance. When our client vacated the property at the end of the lease, you decided to send us a bill for property damages you said were caused by the occupant that the security deposit was not enough to cover the cost. We have spoken to our client and they strongly disagree with what your are claiming on the security deposit disposition report regarding the damages. Our job is to protect our client and not have a landlord add on any erroneous cost without proper justification. It is incumbent upon you to provide proper documentation and receipts to justify all cost that you are claiming and so far you have failed to do so. We have been working with your realtor to try and have this mater resolved amicably. Thank you.Customer Answer
