On 03/07/2022, I paid $2430 of tuition for a Clinical Medical Assistant Certification program. According to the website, documents I was provided, and reception workers, the tuition guaranteed me flexibly scheduled classes and training according to a curriculum designed to give me enough experience and class hours to earn a certificate and pass the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certifying exam. They also told me that the school (MIHT) served as an NHA testing site.I attended the school 3 times in March. I met the instructor and was added to the class app used for class schedule communications. On 04/02/2022 9:45 AM, the instructor posted an announcement on the forum stating No classes today. At 11:56 AM, No classes shall be conducted until you are told to do so! Since then, I and the other students have been unable to contact the school or the owners. The last announcement from the instructor was to inform us that he got a new job at a new school: Hey, about myself I started teaching at another School. The contract I signed with the school states, If the school closes, or cancels or changes a program of study or location in such a way that the student who has started is unable to complete training, arrangements will be made in a timely manner to accommodate the needs of each student enrolled in the program who is affected by the cancellation or change. If the school is unable to make alternative arrangements that are satisfactory to the student, the school will refund all money paid by the student for the program. There has been no effort on the schools part to contact the students. I have tried to call the school at the number listed on its website and the number on the documents I was given by the school. Now, both voicemails say that they are full. I also tried to email the school on April 15th, and have received no response. I want a refund for services not rendered and for the website to state that the school is closed.

I just spoke to Ms. ************************** Told her that we have approved her refund request for the full amount of $2430 that came from credit card company.  Also, requested her to communicate with BBB and request to remove the complaint. She agreed to do so. So, hopefully she would call or send BBB email.

Thank you for the information, we appreciate the support.

      Sincerely

      ***************************, Ph.D.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and I am glad the school has started to respond to students again. I understand they would like my complaint removed, but I checked their website again ************************ The website does not reflect the school's closure although students were sent an email that said the school will be closing after allowing current students who were interested to finish their classes by June 17th. If the school will close and is not accepting new students, that should be reflected on their website.

      Regards,
