-July 2020 we signed a contract with Bethel Builders, projected date of August 2021 -Lack of communication between contractor (***********************) and homeowners ******************************************** move in date was August 2021, changed 4 times. Readjusted to July 2021, September 2021 & October 2021. Paying for 2 homes, no compensation offers & constant extension with apt complex due to constant date change with Bethel.-Walk through and pointed out any concerns we had to fix before we moved in (toilet seats - chipped, wood on back porch - missing, kitchen shelves, electrical issues in basement). Painter was present during walk through, ran through yard and tore it up, ***** witnessed incident and currently this issue still has not been fixed.-***** was addressed and stressed to us that he had to address our concerns with the owner (******). ***** never followed up and never scheduled anything to be fixed. -Culvert pipe was covered and driveway was flooding, addressed with ***** (2021) and has never been fixed. ***** addressed issue in February 2022, requested pictures and no follow up still.-Contacted ****** regarding all issues, filled out warranty form addressing all issues, emailed, sent pictures -Plumber came out, replaced toilet seats and discussed filters - was going to send someone back out to fix filters, have not had anyone come out or call. Upstairs toilet is now unable to be used. Water filters have been changed twice since move in date (Dec 2021, Feb 2022).-Communication between vendors that Bethel is using and homeowners are horrible. They give us the run around about who is handling and asking questions we don't have answers for. The vendors should be contacting Bethel directly versus asking the homeowner "who is paying for this" or insinuating that the homeowner has messed something up, which creates more chaos between homeowner and Bethel. -As a homeowner I am concerned my one year warranty will be gone before issues are fixed in my new home.Business response

-July 2020 we signed a contract with Bethel Builders, projected date of August 2021 -Lack of communication between contractor (***********************) and homeowners (******* & ***********************) -Original move in date was August 2021, changed 4 times. Readjusted to July 2021, September 2021 & October 2021. Paying for 2 homes, no compensation offers & constant extension with apt complex due to constant date change with Bethel.Response from Bethel Builders - We were grateful that you entrusted us with building your home during the ***** epidemic. During the shut down, Bethel Builders was finding new ways of keeping employees/subcontractors working while many other businesses were forced to shut their doors. It was challenging for not only our homeowners, but every employee, trade partner, government office and business that we were working with. With sickness and required quarantine times, shortages in supplies (windows, roofing, siding, appliances etc.) and well as a shortage in labor, we pushed through as best as anyone could in that challenging, "never experienced before" time. Our Construction Online program, that allows our homeowners to stay informed on any date changes, was kept up-to-date as we were given the information. We apologize that the end date changed a few times. We have heard from other builders that they were not so fortunate to have a few months delay - there's went 6 months and beyond. Again, we are grateful for you and thank you.-Walk through and pointed out any concerns we had to fix before we moved in (toilet seats - chipped, wood on back porch - missing, kitchen shelves, electrical issues in basement). Painter was present during walk through, ran through yard and tore it up, Kenny witnessed incident and currently this issue still has not been fixed. -***** was addressed and stressed to us that he had to address our concerns with the owner (******). ***** never followed up and never scheduled anything to be fixed.Response from Bethel Builders - Your Pre-Closing Walkthrough was conducted on October 13th, two days before we obtained your Certificate of Occupancy. You were able to move in while we were scheduling your repairs that were documented on your pre-close form. Your trim team repairs were completed and the form was signed by you on December 17th. The rut created by the painter was repaired, seeded and strawed on June 9, 2022.-Culvert pipe was covered and driveway was flooding, addressed with ***** (2021) and has never been fixed. Kenny addressed issue in February 2022, requested pictures and no follow up still.Response from Bethel Builders - This employee is no longer with Bethel Builders and this was repaired on June 9, 2022.-Contacted ****** regarding all issues, filled out warranty form addressing all issues, emailed, sent pictures -Plumber came out, replaced toilet seats and discussed filters - was going to send someone back out to fix filters, have not had anyone come out or call. Upstairs toilet is now unable to be used. Water filters have been changed twice since move in date (Dec 2021, Feb 2022).Response from Bethel Builders - 30 day Warranty form was received on December 14, 2021. The toilet flush valves fall under homeowner maintenance, but we paid to replace them in each of the toilets in your home. In a new home build, filters need to be changed often. With some new *****, filters may need to be changed every month for a time.-Communication between vendors that Bethel is using and homeowners are horrible. They give us the run around about who is handling and asking questions we don't have answers for. The vendors should be contacting Bethel directly versus asking the homeowner "who is paying for this" or insinuating that the homeowner has messed something up, which creates more chaos between homeowner and Bethel.Response from Bethel Builders - We appreciate your feedback on the communication as we are always working to make this better.-As a homeowner I am concerned my one year warranty will be gone before issues are fixed in my new home.Response from Bethel Builders - All of your 30 day items were completed per our ********************* They will reach out to you a few months before your one year anniversary to see if there are any additional items that will fall under the one year warranty requirements.--*********************Office ManagerBethel Builders************ Direct
