    Over billing advertised and accepted third party gas supplier contract. Accepted price was a fixed rate @ 79,9 cents per therm. An additional balancing charge WAS NOT MENTIONED.. Monthly charges reveal a balancing charge being applied. NOVEC claims this is a charge being applied by Washington Gas. Yet the bill indicates it is charged by NOVEC. NOVEC makes it difficult to cancel, Can only cancel by calling them. Number supplied may or may not yield results. Undoubtedly an answering service, that will advise front office of the request. Will not supply confirmation of the request. Customer must call back in about two weeks to determine status. After numerous attempts finally got someone to return the call. Needs to learn good customer service can make a difference. One star, unable to give zero.

    NOVEC kept my card on file, without my authorization and automatically charged almost $400 on my check card without my authorization and I had just made a payment a few days prior! This caused my bank account to be overdrawn. This is un aceptable and unethical. I never gave them permission to keep my card nor to automatically charge whatever and whenever they feel like doing so. They used to be a good company, now I don’t even recognize the way they do business. They should be investigated.

    NOVEC changed its billing system, notified customer 3 days prior to due billing, canceled my autopay service, then charge me for late fee. 1. it did not give customer enough notice 2. used a 3rd party system to send email, though the title says Novec, the email from SmartHub went to spam. 3. NOVEC expect its customer to sign up and give your information to a third party company via a email is like asking people to accept scam... 4. Charging customer late fee when customer has auto pay in place should be a violation i wish we have choices for electric service

    I had internet service with this company. I had tech. problems with my service. I call tec support six times and was assigned a ticket number. I was told to contact Jessica Z****, who is in charge of that dept.. I called her and she assured me that she would take care of it. After two weeks the problem was not fixed. I called her at least 12 time and left numerous messages BEGGING her to return my call, she never did and I'm still being charged each month for a service I no longer have.. WORST COMPANY EVER111111
