    Do not order samples from this site! It is NOT the Top Knob official site. This is the correct site.: https://www.topknobs.com. At the official site you can get samples for free plus coupons for further purchase. At this fake site they charge a 20% restocking fee AND do not pay for return shipping.

    Hi Tanya, We apologize for the misunderstanding. We are an authorized online distributor of Top Knobs items. We are not a fraudulent company as you may suspect. All orders submitted through our company are forwarded over to the manufacturer to drop ship directly to our customers as we do not stock those items in our facility. Upon reaching out to us about samples, our company would advise you that we do not offer a sample program, but you are welcome to contact the manufacturer as they do. They offer up to three free samples per order and you would be responsible for paying $5 shipping per item. Each item should be of a different SKU. If you place a sample order through the manufacturer, then the order will not be eligible for a return. As stated on topknobs.com, "Since there is no charge for the product samples themselves, they cannot be returned to Top Knobs for product credit." Customers are unable to purchase directly from the manufacturer, but are welcome to do so through an authorized dealer such as ourselves. We generally do not offer return shipping to customers for any order unless it is a mistake on our part. If you return the items, there would be a 20% restocking fee and you would be responsible for return shipping. Our company is responsible for the restocking fee for any items that get sent back to Top Knobs. As stated under 'Price List Policies' on the manufacturers website, "Any order correctly filled by Top Knobs but returned by the customer will have a 20% restocking fee for processing the return (this helps cover receiving in the shipment, inspecting each item, repackaging as necessary, restocking each item, and issuing a credit). We are unable to waive the restocking fee for our customers, unless we are advised by Top Knobs that it was waived for our company. For your order specifically, you have not been charged as of yet due to one item not shipping out to you. There is a pending hold on the card that you used to purchase as we do not charge our customers card until the entire order is shipped unless otherwise notified. If you wish to return the items that you received for a refund, please reach out to us at 1-877-919-1476 and we will be glad to get in touch with Top Knobs to request that they provide us a credit memo for your order as it appears that they missed a line item when they were entering it into their system. If they agree to do so, we will be glad to void the hold on your card. We are very well known in the hardware industry.
