    Outside back up with shift mid and turning all of my paperwork that they needed everything cleared except for my annual physical and my background checkcheck. Everyday that I wrote them they told me that I had to wait 3 to 5 business days even though it has been seven consecutive days without the weekends. You can't get a hold of anybody via phone it's all messages and the messages clearly states that I have to wait 3 to 5 business days One lady told me that it would clear on Friday because it has been long enough so I get different things. Just imagine if they treat their staff like this how would they actually treat people in the actual nursing home it's just the game to them money money money who's bringing in more money for their company I've been around in this field to know and I worked with plenty of agencies to know that this is not how you run a business. Therefore they lost me in the medical field aspect and I will keep continuing to spread this throughout social media and spread awareness to everybody. I have all the messages all the different games they told me and played and also the screenshots that I sent them to prove that it is been more than the time limit. I also explained to them that I pushing the issue because I need to work while it's what I try to join? I highly do not recommend this company

    On 4/26 I worked for Shift Med at a facility in Gretna, Louisiana. I worked from 9am -9:17pm stayed over 2 hours because as I was preparing to leave a resident had a fall. I had to do an incident report. Shift med is telling me I cannot be paid until 5/9/25 because I stayed over an additional 2 hours. I have contacted them on numerous occasions and have been given the incorrect number to reach someone live to speak with. This company is a joke!!!!! I cannot wait until the 9th for pay. I have bills. I am a college student who works agency because I cannot work full time right now. Nobody tried to get me my pay, nor was they trying to hear what I was saying. This is unacceptable!

    Worked a double clocked in and out by payday my shift disappeared when I asked what happened I was told to fill out a missed punch slip I was confirmed with emails that I would receive payment on the next paycheck and I would have the same conversation through emails for six weeks still waiting for payment everyone says the same thing we are sorry for your inconvenience wait next paycheck can't speak to anyone on the phone

    ShiftMed does not care about the nurses who work with them. ShiftMed policies are prohibitive to helping nurses get out there and actually do the work at bedside. ShiftMed is a terrible company to work with.

    If I could give this company a zero, I would. Onboarding process is HORRIBLE. No option to speak with a live person. Declined submitted documents for onboarding. Denial of documentation for reasons that are unjustified, even after providing proof. Onboarding process directly reflects how your future experience with the company will be.

    I have been stuck in an ongoing circle of trying to be cleared to pick up shift with ShiftMed for months. I have everything verified. The help desk states all I need is to claim an orientation, but when I go to unlock the orientation it says to contact shift med. ShiftMed said oh it because you need to be provisioned, but you can only be provisioned after you take orientation. *** attempted to seek help for weeks now only to end up in this same circle. I just dont think its work all the frustration now. So far this has been an awful experience.

    Never paid me for a guaranteed shift when it “disappeared” after I picked it up on their app. ShiftMed tried telling me I didn’t have the required credentials; although I wouldn’t have been able to pick the shift up if I didn’t have the necessary credentials. This was from November 22 and I still haven’t been paid.

    ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!!! Ap wouldn't let me clock in/out.Scheduled me for shifts I DID NOT WANT then accused me of not showing up.Worked my shifts...STILL NO PAY FOR THEM!!!! Told me I called off when IWAS@FACILITY!!!! AVERAGE time on phone on hold was appx 4 To 5 HOURS!!!!ONLY TO GET JERKED around...no resolution..no pay.Facility called VERIFIED MY HOURS NUMEROUS TIMES...STILL NO PAY!!!!!! I'm in tears.I need that $$$ DESPERATELY &am being told I will have to wait 2 to 3 pay periods to receive 2 days of pay!!!!! I SINCERELY WISH...The CEO..Todd Walrath would email me...BECAUSE I AM ANGRY....I'm FUSTRATED....I WANT MY JOB&MY PAY ASAP!!!!!!! I want answers!!!! I want apologies for being treated VERY VERY BADLY ON PHONE...I Want him to know what is going on.I WANT TO BE TREATED WITH THE RESPECT I DESERVE!!!     L. B***** My experience with this company isn’t good I worked a shift for them at a local Nursing Facility here in Nashville Tennessee on 9/4/23 and have not been paid at this time I contacted the facility where I performed the services and was assured that they confirmed the shift as worked I have texted ShiftMed and responded on the phone number provided by them with no reply Next step will be to file a complaint with the labor board so beware

    Shift Med is a crappy and dirt hole company to work with! They are slack and all of their office staff are incompetent including Human Resource. They owe me money and withholding like it’s theirs. I’ve worked at a facility through them for 15 hours, drove 4 hours round trip and was stuck with 33 patients. How do they thank me? They sent my check to the wrong mailing address when I updated my address weeks ago, lied to me of when my check was going to be mailed out and coded my direct deposit wrong as a Savings account when I entered it as my checking account. My bank informed me that these errors we’re based off of them. You can never speak to anyone in payroll and they have these telephone operators pretending to be supervisors when they are just really “team leads!” They don’t want to take accountability for their actions and then like to over talk you! Run from this place. I worked my first and last gig with them. Shift Med, don’t even think about responding to my review because I already know it’s going to be a lot of BS!!! Go to Shiftkey instead! Shiftkey, you get paid the very next day. This gruesome company you have to wait until Payroll emails them back because they don’t have a phone ! Shift Med is like working as a slave on a PLANTATION! I’m not your slave and you aren’t my master! Pay me my MONEY!
