Danielle at location 15163-b Crossroads parkway Is so unprofessional and rude. I would not go back until there’s a different manager. I left with the same problem I came with I deal with this location for years and was satisfied until The manager Danielle showed up with an attitude , and lack of communication. She needs to be retrained in the customer service department or step down. I had a disrespectful visit

***************** installed the wrong part for $490. They came back and installed another one that was still not the problem. They never showed up the third time. Navy Federal saw nothing wrong with it and denied our claim. We opened it up again, and Navy requested we pay another company to prove that the appliance was still broken and needed another part. We did that, and after that, Navy still denied our claim. We closed our accounts with Navy and the credit card as well. Since they do not protect their customers, no more car loans and no more ********************** cards for us.

My name is Dandre Jack I have been a valued customer with navy federal for 4 years I have a secured credit card to help build my credit money in my savings account but still getting denied for a loan. I make more than enough money for a loan and my credit is building but yet they couldn’t care less about extending an auto loan to continue to help build my credit. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the loan and the loan appeal process. How are you guys offering to help build credit and not giving the consumers a chance.

Went up to the window and ask the cashier can I cash a personnel check from ********* for $2,000, I mentioned that I only have $1,000 in checking and a $100 dollars in Savings....he stated there would be a 2 day hold put on the check. I asked the technician to ask the bank manager for a one time exemption. He went behind a door to speak to the manager on duty to see if he could process an exemption....The Navy Credit Union manager Mr. **** ******** told the cashier that if they called USAA they would not provide any info....so they could not approve my exemption. So the only recourse I had was to with draw the $1,000 from the funds I had in my account. This moron of a ***************** ******** was able to see my account and see that I paid off a mortgage loan in around 4 years, he know doubt could also check my FICA score and how long I was a Navy Federal Credit Union member. As I mentioned to the cashier and asked him to tell the manager that I was coming from The Villages, ** approximately 63 miles away and an hour and ****************** longer on the *********** with the road construction going on.. This would be a one-time exemption as next time I would transfer funds into the account prior to arrival. Bottom line is .Technician read and following policy, Managers are put in positions for evaluating the circumstances and weigh the evidence in decision making **** **** ******** did not even have the respect to come out of his hiding spot behind a closed door to come discuss his decision. Managers are well aware that branches are not located near all members. Asking a member to deposit a check and coming back in two days to withdraw the funds when you live over an hour away is asinine. So now Navy Federal has $0.08 in my checking versus $1,000 great job. They should put you in for manager of the month.

I have been a member of Navy Federal Credit Union for 20+ years. A few days ago, I received a letter stating that my wife, with whom we have been married and who has been on my account for 22+ years, is not an authorized user. At first, I thought the letter was a phishing scam, but the letter said to reply to ******************************************************************* and had the correct bank phone number listed. The only good news is Navy Federal responded to my eMessage quickly but now insists that she was never an authorized user, not a member, and has not filled out the application and requests me to re-file all the authorized user forms, including the joint owner, and to re-make her my beneficiary by filling out the Payable On Death (POD) form. This almost seemed like a threat the way it was written, although somehow the life insurance I purchased through Navy Federal is through a 3rd party and unassociated. To me, this is Highly questioning account practices at **********************, but I have requested them to send me any and all forms needed to re-add my wife to my account, who has had access to all my accounts for 20+ years with a request to them sending back acknowledgment of the completed forms so I can keep for my records because apparently, they have issues keeping records of account holders and authorized users.

I was in the process of purchasing a vehicle and decided to go through Navy Federal Credit Union thinking that the credit union had the best rates. I got pre-approved for a loan through 8.69% for a late-model vehicle and they explained that I did not have to use the full amount of my approval. I decided to get an older model (2022), with low miles, that was cheaper so that I could keep my payment lower. In the very small print on a random piece of paper, it says that the interest rate may vary. Not on the highlighted portion showing the approved interest rate of 8.69%. It was not explained to me over the phone, nor at the branch office when I went to pick up the check. Now, my interest rate is *****% and I am paying almost $5K extra in interest! I called in to speak with a supervisor and they would not honor the preapproved interest rate and since I already purchased the vehicle I am SOL. I could have gone through the dealership for better rates. This is very disappointing, I will pay this truck off or trade it in in a few years and never do business with Navy Federal again.

On 25 January my wife tried to make a mobile deposit into our Navy Federal account and was told she had to open a checking and a savings account with her as primary even though she's on my account. It was stated to her that this was required in order to be considered a member, so she opened both accounts and then called to notify me of the situation. When I called Navy Federal Credit Union to complain they stated that she only needed to open a savings account and not a checking account and that they don't know why someone would tell her she needed to open both. I asked if it was commission based and did not get an answer, but was told that they would put my complaint in the system and that I would get a phone call by 28 Jan 25 at the latest. It's now 4 Feb 25 and I still haven't received a call or resolution.
