Beach Auto Brokers, Inc. has been the subject of a BBB advertising challenge brought to their attention by the BBB referencing the advertisement in on the company's website dated February 18, 2020.
Specifically, the company's use of the advertised claim "Guaranteed Credit Approval" does not meet the Better Business Bureau Code of Advertising guidelines.
According to the guidelines: "The words "no credit rejected," "guaranteed credit approval," "all credit applications accepted" or words of similar import can imply that consumer credit will be extended to anyone regardless of the consumer's credit worthiness or financial ability to pay. They must only be used when all credit requests are approved."
The BBB requested clarification from the company on the specifics of their "Guaranteed Credit Approval" claim.
In a written response Beach Auto Brokers, Inc. explained that the "Guaranteed Credit Approval" logo originates from their lending source, Credit Acceptance Corporation, whose program is specifically designed to help credit-challenged car buyers get approved for the extension of credit regardless of credit history. This program assures that "there will be no circumstance where a customer will be denied the extension of credit based on their credit profile or lack thereof."
In the interest of clarification and transparency, Beach Auto Brokers, Inc. have decided to add a disclaimer to display on their website stating that money down may be required for desired vehicle purchase and/or selection of a more affordable vehicle. Through their lending source, a customer is guaranteed the extension of some amount of credit toward vehicle purchase.
BBB has determined that the information Beach Auto Brokers, Inc. provided is acceptable and closed the ad review concern as substantiated.

On the afternoon of 6/13/24 I met salesman ** at Beach Auto Brokers. after test driving three vehicles took possession of a **** **** Rubicon and left my 2010 ****** ****** at Beach Auto Brokers. $**** Because it was near closing time I only signed an agreement to obtain financing. The next day I emailed ** my paystubs. On 6/15/24 I went to the dealership to give them my title. At that poin* *** **** advised me he was still working on a deal for me. In the meantime, he had me initial some miscellaneous paperwork, none of which was a contract. A few days later I emailed *** **** who never responded. When I finally reached him by phone a week later, I informed him that the constant pulling myself into the Jeep had inflamed a pinched nerve in my neck. Even though I have doctors' statements stating it will get worse with the constant repetition and that I needed to return the Jeep that to my knowledge was not financed yet. He told me it was too bad. I stated that I had a signed form that states I am able to make the return under special circumstance. *** **** stated there was no such form even though it was in my possession and signed by the GM *** ******** who *** **** refused to let me speak to. Later that week I received a text from a finance company stating that they were my lien holder and showed a very payment that I had not agreed or could afford, nor had I even signed a contract yet. I again sent numerous emails to *** **** who never to this date responded. The finance company took my complaint and after several requests sent me an electronically signed contract that I had never seen. I asked for an actual signature and was finally sent a forged contract that I also had never seen with scribble in the signature spot. My attempts to rectify this forgery have so far been ignored. I do know without a doubt that I have never seen or signed a contract. Nor would I have accepted a payment that high and unaffordable. ******* *** ** knew this as they had my paystubs.

Purchased a vehicle from them, because I saw the advertisements that the vehicles have gone through a certification process. But exactly the day after I took the car home. Numerous warning lights came on, my car didn’t accelerate, my brakes were squeaking, my wipers were worn, and an LED daytime running light was out. I immediately notified my sales person. And he played it off as “it was just the wrong gas put in there.” And after that I contacted the sales manager. And was told “we’ll take care of it” but I never got any follow up, or any contact after that regarding the issues. They never called me to notify me when my permanent license plates came in, and never provided me with new temporary tags. If the vehicles aren’t actually certified in the shop, then don’t advertise them as so,

I have spoke with the manager at Beach Auto Brokers and it is my understanding assistance was offered but Mr. H***** never bought his vehicle to the dealership. I personally reached out to Mr. H***** on April 30, 2024 via email and offered my assistance. I even included my direct telephone number. I have not seen or heard from him since.
My summary is; Mr. H***** bought a vehicle, complains, get offered assistance and never does anything to help himself. He still should have my telephone number. I truly would like to sit and discuss with him any assistance we might offer.
