We called this company out last night for a service *********** charged us $1000.00 for a simple airline and still DID NOT FIX MY TRUCK. They have a racket in ******************************* and need to be shutdown. They are listed as Richmond 24hr mobile truck on ******* Told us we had to pay for them from time we called till they were done & we told them that's crazy he said he was sending a wrecker to TAKE MY TRUCK until bill is paid. He ended up charging us $1300.00 for him coming out and bringing his wrecker onsite. Settled with $1000.00 after getting state troopers & local police involved.

On 2/27/24My truck broke down on 295 North. I contacted Amigos that night and was told they could not help until the next morning because I needed a part, they didn't have so I called the next morning and sent them my truck description and Vin Number in order to get the right part. They told me it would be $160 for the service call and 160 an hour plus parts. The mechanic showed up and started working around nine he took off the old part and tried to put on the new part it was the wrong part, so he left again to showed back up about an hour later and tried to install the part but said it was the wrong part again and left again. This time while he was gone, I called to **** commercial trucking where he was getting the parts from, and they told me it was the right part because the vendor had changed the part and that it works because they install them all the time. The mechanic went to a different vendor the third time and got a part the same as the one that came off and put it on. The problem I have is that there charging me all this money because of their incompetence. This job should have not taken more than 2 hours if their mechanic knew what he was doing. Charging me because he couldn't get the part right or knew how to put it on should not be on me and if you look at the invoice the out call fee should have covered his travel time to and from the truck that's what the fee was for. I Also called around for the part and it was $95 at the dealer not $140, and the belt was not $45 dollars. This is a shady business to say the lease.

The incident unfolded on November 27, 2023, when a towing event was initiated by Progressive Roadside Assistance, with the destination set for Amigos Comercial Truck Repair at *****************************************************************. Despite the original destination being elsewhere (***** *******************************************************************************), the owner, *****************************, insisted on diverting the truck and trailer to his shop. ******* claimed they could rebuild the transmission, which led to the decision to proceed to Amigos Comercial Truck Repair. On November 27, 2023, a payment of $441.00 was made to ******************* for Roadside Assistance. On November 28, 2023, it was revealed that the shop does not specialize in transmission rebuilds. They proposed purchasing a rebuilt transmission for $4,500, prompting the individual to explore alternative options. Subsequently, on November 29, 2023, a transmission was purchased from Car Part Planet, with an estimated arrival date of January 15, ****.Initially, the shop proposed a charge of $1,160 for transmission installation, but this was later revised to $1,400 for various services, including storage and diagnosis. A deposit of $1,000 was made on December 29, 2023, and work commenced. However, on January 7, ****, it was discovered that the installed transmission was leaking badly, necessitating additional repairs. Despite attempts to rectify the issue, the transmission continued to malfunction, leading to multiple removals and reinstallations. On February 1, ****, an invoice was received totaling $2,920, including a $1,000 deposit. However, the shop unexpectedly added an extra $1,000 for storage fees, which was disputed by the individual. After personally visiting the shop and making the required payments, the individual encountered resistance when requesting the shop assistant to sign the paid invoice. Subsequent communication with ***************************** regarding the trailer damage and overall dissatisfaction.

On Saturday 1/13/2024 I contacted Amigos Commercial Truck and Tire to have my **** International Tow truck towed in to their shop due to breaking down on the highway. I live in ** and was headed home at the time, so I had to leave my vehicle at Amigos and return to **. I was told by the Amigo staff that someone would be contacting me by Monday (1/15) after checking out the truck. I was not contacted on Monday by anyone. So on Tuesday(1/16) I called them and also texted them, however no one answered or returned my call. I waited 2 more days and attempted to call and text them again on Friday(1/19). However no one answered or responded to my calls or text on that day. On Monday (1/22), I began to call again, and that day someone answered and I was told to provide my email so the Invoice could be sent. I rec'd a bill for $3,220. There was no pre-estimates provided, I was told that the truck was already fixed and ready. I did feel I was being over charged, however I paid it, because the sales rep informed me I had a warranty. He also said that if the truck broke down they would pick it up. After picking up the truck on 1/23/24, I left the Amigos shop and after driving about 15 minutes down the road my truck began to behave the same as it did prior to being repaired by Amigos. I Was forced to pull over and could not operate the truck. I then contacted the Amigos who did not answer. I continued to call until finally receiving an answer late in the night. I informed the Amigo shop of my breakdown and my truck was then picked up the next morning. The repair man told me because I had just had it repaired he would provide 5 hours of free diagnostics and that I could purchase my own part if I chose. After another 5 days I was contacted again with an Invoice estimate for $3,201.00, that included 4hours of labor, $748.00 for a LP fuel pump and $1013.00 for a TPR valve. I contacted the owner to question the invoice and to question the labor hours, the owner stated he never mentioned anything about free labor hours and basically told me to just come pick up my truck. He was extremely rude, and unprofessional throughout the entire process. I had my truck towed back the next day via another tow company. When I got the truck back the fuel pump and TPR valve had been removed. I contacted the owner Amigos again to inform him and he only stated "oh they must have forgot to put it back in." He then said "well that should save you some time'. I asked him to please mail the missing equipment however I have NOT yet get a response to confirm that it had been mailed. I'M Very upset because I feel like I was charged for a job that wasn't completed and I would like to request a refund of the amount I paid minus the tow fee of ($400.00 ) which is $2,820.00 I had to purchase a brand new fuel pump from the dealership which was $250.00 and a new TPR valve which was $50.00. Please treat customers the you would like to be treated.

I Initially went to Amigos Commercial Truck & Tire Repair to replace 1 senor switch that was causing my horn to sound off because the switch wasn't reading the truck was in park. I had no other issues upon arrival. I told them that I wanted only for the part to be fixed. I was told that I had to sign the forms in order for them to work on my truck, I tried to skip certain parts but camera footage will show he came back to me with the paperwork to be signed in or for them to work on my truck. Maybe close to 30mins to a hour later a guy came informing me I need a oil change which I knew, He went on to say I have a cooling leak, Oil leak and my Pressure wasn't building up, when I go and check my truck the brake chamber line had been unscrewed. I looked at the cooling lines and told them I didn't want any cooling repair as well, I just wanted the oil change and the sensor replaced. My complaint is that I went into the shop with one issue which didn't get solved as I left with a number of other problems that I didn't have prior to arrival. I decided a payment range in the beginning with the guy and when asked, why did he go over that amount?" he stated he forgot, when he looked at the invoice it was over the amount. They locked my truck and made me pay to a Zelle(*************************)Blue water RV to get my keys back, which is not the company, *********************************************** when I crank the truck after them returning the keys back to me air was profusely coming from Beneath the truck behind the gas pedal which is where the sensors are located. I had to drive over 600 miles not knowing if the brakes would lose air or what potentially could happen. I could have hurt someone or myself in the event that I lost pressure coming down a hill maybe even killed someone or myself, all for the business to gain. The reviews show you that more than one person been through this situation.
