The company response is terrible. During the time of Covid we had trouble getting someone to call us back to schedule our biannual service. This was part of a service agreement we had with them. You would think that if you had paid for a service agreement, they would be the ones calling to schedule the service. I went to their location and found someone in the door locked, but there was someone there. She did come to the door and we were able to get our service scheduled and completed. Even since Covid, their reputation for returning calls is terrible. We had a water leak on our hot water heater in February 2024. the response this time was good. They came out on 2/27/24 and made the required repairs. At this time we signed up for a 2 year service contract for ******** We have been calling for over a month now to get our spring service scheduled. The answering service says they will forward the message. Finally, on May 15th a technician called after i called and told they answering service that I thought they were out of business. She did forward that information and a technician called back. I missed the call, but he left me a message that was pretty gruff. he stated that they were NOT out of business, but did not comment on scheduling a service. Since then it has been it has been quiet, with no return calls from them. I drove by their address and the lot has been taken over by a used car lot next door and no trespassing signs all over the building. They should probably get a rating of ZERO!Review from Cathy M

I purchased a 3yr maintenance agreement last year and went to call them in February and realized that they are no longer in business. They are taking my monthly payment out each month of my checking account. I called bank and filed a dispute. I have no idea when they went out of business!Review from Kelly G

Air Conditioning Specialists installed a Air conditioning and heating unit in my home in 2020 a year after Air conditioning stopped working they came out to see what the problem was they said they have to order a part two months later have not heard from them every time I call they won't return the call had another company come and check out the problem they fixed it that day will never deal with Air conditioning specialist againReview from Maria C

On Jan 2023 I paid $*** for a full yrs contract. Called to cancel contract & request full refund in February 2023. Been calling every week to seek refund either speaking to same woman or leaving detailed messages. ALWAYS given excuses the few times they actually answered their phone. It's now June 28 and no contact with me & no refund. Their mailbox is full so can no longer leave messages.Review from Bruce C

This company installed a Trane heat pump system in January ***** The install appeared to be professionally done and the system worked as it should for a while. Then came the installation problems...in April ***** two of three zone damper valves stopped working with replacement valves working opposite of the way they were supposed to work. Next came a failed compressor that took 3 weeks to replace during June/July **** time frame (maint completed less than 2 months before didn't identify pending problem). Had to borrow two portable A/C units in an attempt to keep house cool. Then, the variable speed fan motor & control module failed in January ***** Emergency Heat did not even work!!! Had to close off portions of the house and operate our gas fireplace with space heaters and fans to keep house reasonably warm.
Now, last week, my heat pump was cycling excessively without producing any heat. I decided to call another HVAC contractor. This contractor determined that my system was not wired properly and corrected the issue. System now works correctly for first time in a while.
ACS techs do not perform seasonal checks in a consistent manner, demonstrating a wide variance of standards when cleaning system components. This was especially evident with the pre-filter on our whole house electronic air cleaner. I took it out once and blew it out with compressed air, causing what looked like a dust storm.
I also noticed that the service van that came out one time had 2 different license plates on it (different numbers entirely), the one in the back had updated registration on it; but the one in the front was significantly out of date. There is no way this was done accidentally. Looks like owner was trying to pull a fast one by only updating registration on one set of plates and using them on the back of 2 service vans. The back plates are more visible to police from behind as compared to the front plates.

This company can no longer provide support for the A/C system they installed. I prepaid for my service contract and when trying to set up a service appointment back in January of this year I was unable to get in contact with anyone after trying at least twice a week for the entire month. I drove to the business to try and get answers, but found the company didn't have enough people to be able to get the job done. I waited and once again tried to set up another service appointment for summer. They gave me a 2 hour appointment in July and never showed. I rescheduled for August and waited for more than 4 hours and no one showed. I made multiple calls to try and get an answer as to the problem. They took down my number and never called me back. I am very disappointed with this company. This company installed two excellent systems for me. An Air Conditioner/Heater in 2014 and a Tankless Water Heater in 2018. I renewed my contract on 06 Jun 2021, and paid ******* for 3 years on my air conditioner and cannot get service. I have 2 alerts on my thermostat. Since January 2022, I have been put on hold, had appointments cancelled or given appointments where no one shows. I called 2 months ahead of time just to get an appointment for 18 May 2022. I called and they said an emergency came up and they would call back. I called them and Anna said they had 22 people she was scheduling, On 15 Dec 2021, I paid ******* on a contract for my Tankless Water Heater which has never been serviced. They have ******* of my money and I want a refund. As far as I know they have only 1 qualified technician. I bought 2 contracts in faithfulness that this company would continue their excellent service. I feel I cannot work with this company any longer and I want my money back. They installed a good system but having condensation problems in one room and after 2 technicians, no solution! Have a mess to repair and last tech that came, never got back with me after discussing my problem with his supervisor! Just don't seem to care. Won't recommend them to anyone!!!
